Day 1

A poor soul on the side of the road

I invited it into my humble abode

I was heating up some water in a pot

While doing that, I never would have thought

That the poor soul was a test of wits

Who pretended to be falling to bits

To see if there was still good in the world

I was going to reply, but they left in a whirl

By helping that poor soul, I proved

That all negativities we must remove

Now I know I made the world a better place

That nobody is better, no reason for a race

Can’t you all see that it is not the reason

We humans should be kind, no matter the season

If only we could bring peace like a dove

We could see the true meaning, the truth of our love
