Hello, it's Ayan here. I'm the author of Rubies Fallen and Forever and Evermore. I'm here to talk about why I'm abandoning Rubies Fallen until further notice.
To me, RF has grown its own expectation that I can't live up to as an author. I've planned it and I've tried to write it, but it's such a serious thing. I enjoy writing humor yet action. And the more I think about RF and how everything is to work, it gets more and more boring.
I still do like the idea I have for it, the plot seems cool and has potential, but whenever I sit down to write it I find no inspiration like I do with other stories. Maybe it's the fact that it's all planned out, there's barely any room for creative activities. And believe me, I'm trying. But it's a mature story, and with my crazy and spontaneous mind, I don't think I'm capable of achieving the seriousness in my writing.
For now, I'd like to age the story as if it were a fine wine. I'm incapable of writing in the seriousness of the story, and if anyone who likes it and believes they can, I encourage to try and pick it up.
That is all for now. Until next time.
