It was official. Christmas was just two days away, and it was obvious. There was snow everywhere and the stores insisted on playing that corny music they do around the holidays.

John sat by the window and watched the cars speed by, honking noisily at each other below. Only if they knew what kind of noise pollution they were causing down there, waking up children and everything like that.

As if he had heard his thoughts, Sean started squalling from the other room.

John opened up the window and stuck his head out, not caring when the snow started pelting him and blowing inside. "Look what you did, you bloody sods! You woke up the baby!" he screamed out the window. He grabbed a large rock from the desk that he had especially for this purpose and hurled it at one of the honking cars. It struck the roof with a loud noise and the car abruptly stopped honking. John hurriedly pulled his head back inside and shut the window, face already red from the brief exposure to the cold outdoors.

He made his way down the hallway to Sean's nursery and lifted him from his crib. "Shhh," he said soothingly, holding him and gently rocking him back and forth. "That big, mean car woke you up, but don't worry. Daddy got revenge." Sean stared up at him with large dark eyes for a few moments before drifting back to sleep. He gently put Sean back in the crib before going back to the other room.

He decided to text Paul and ask him when he was going to have Christmas, since the McCartney's always had the holiday at their house. This didn't bother John. As long as he didn't have to do any housecleaning or basically turn a tap, he was fine.
