The Only Reason || Calum Hood

Chapter 9

"I'm gonna miss you Cal." I say and hug him tightly as his flight is called.

"Please don't cry Aleah." He wipes a single tear rolling down my cheek.

"Ok," I whisper. "Im gonna really miss you."

"Yea, me too."

"Ring me when you get there ok?"

"Duh, I'll need to hear your angelic voice after that long flight." He winks and sighs as the final call of his flight is called.

"I'll miss you baby, stay safe." He kisses me. "Love you."

"Love you too." I wave to the rest of the boys, I had already said goodbye to them.

I wave as they all disappear to board their plane. I sigh and walk out of the airport with Beth, Stella, Rachel and a few other friends.

"Anyone up for a pool party?" Stella asks and we all nod.

That girl has a serious pool.

"Hella yea!" Beth says and we all walk to Stella's house, only being about a ten minute walk.

"So, what's been going on with you and Cal?" Stella asks. "Any...ya know?" She winks and I roll my eyes.

"No. But he does all these really cute things for me. He gave me a mixed taped of all of our favourite songs last night." I smile at the memory.

"Aw, that's cute. I bet it has Bringing Sexy Back." She winks and I just laugh and roll my eyes in response.

"Lets go partay!" Stella shouts as she skips down the street.

No wonder Ashton asked her out.

*Five months later*

"Hey babe," Calum says through my computer screen. We skype everyday, but it's just not the same.

"Hey Cal."

"You ok Aleah?"

"Just missing like crazy, it's been almost six months."

"One more week left until you can see your sexy boyfriend again." He winks.I laugh at his clumsy attempt to cheer me up.

"Yea. So, how's the tour going?" I ask and he smiles like a devil child.

"We're gonna do this huge prank on the lads on the last concert next week."

"What exactly are you guys gonna do?"

"You'll see." He just winks.

"Calum! Get ready honey, the boys are all waiting." I look at Calum, who isntantly rolls his eyes.

"Who's that Calum?"

"Someome."

"Come on Cal!" She says again.

"Is it your sister?"

"Not telling."

"Calum." I say, getting angry.

"Hurry up Cal!" The girl calls.

"Who the hell is she Calum?" I ask, getting more angry at the second.

"I, ah got to go, talk to you later babe." He quickly ends the call and I melt down.

"Why?" Is the the last thing I say before I errupt in a fit of violent tears.

I wake up the next morning, not wanting to do anything.

Who was she? And why wouldn't he tell me?

Is he cheating on me?

I sob into my pillow.

Another ten minutes later, Im still in bed when my phone goes of.

"What?" I ask sleepily as I pick up.

"Its Luke."

"Oh...hi."

"What's wrong with Calum? He seems more stressed than usual."

"Hmmm, I wonder?" I ask sarcastically.

"What do you mean?" He ask, sounding confused.

"There was a girl talking to him yesterday when we where skyping and he wouldn't tell me who it was."

"Its his sister. She's been staying with us for a while." I sigh.

"Why wouldn't he tell me?" I ask, hurt. He stays silent for a while.

"He uh...said something about you not liking her and ruining your relationship." I laugh uneasily.

"I can tell when your lying Lucas. Your voice always gets higher."

"I uh...have to go now, bye." I scream in frustration as he hangs up.

"He is fucking cheating on me." I mutter and walk downstairs.
