I heard Nia get up in the middle of the night
I whispered"Nia where are you going"
"Bathroom"She whispered back
"Ok hurry"
I then heard her phone ding'Who could be texting her at this time of night'I thought
I picked up her phone and unlocked it with my fingerprint
I saw that it was a message from an unknown number so I started to ignore it then I saw that she texted that same person earlier today
I read through the messages and started crying realizing that she is doing all this for me and now I know why she didn't tell me what's going on
I just sat there crying not because I was sad I was mad as hell right now
Nia came in the room a few seconds later and saw me crying
"Kai what's wrong"
I gave her the phone
"Nia I don't even have words to say right now I'm speechless. Why didn't you tell me"
"You read it all of it"
"Yes"I just burst out in tears
"Kai I'm so sorry please forgive me I didn't want you to get hurt"
"I forgive you"My voice got deeper"I'm going to find who the fuck this is"
"Kai don't do it I don't want you to get hurt"
"Nia I love you too much, if I means I will get hurt to save you and my future child then so be it"
"Kai let's just get some sleep for now and figure this out tomorrow"
She crawled in bed and I wrapped my hands around her waist and we just laid there crying in each others arms
