Poem #4, Untitled

1 0 0

meek like a Robbin's egg

but cold and hard as ice

flamboyant as fire

but as ferocious as a bear

fire and ice

heat and cold

opposites collide

neither one stronger

both equally matched

in this collision something is made

something new and precious

something special and equally rare

something stronger than both its parts

but all the same weaker

all the good

and all the bad

combined into one

something complacent and kind as a new mother

but still something new and brave

on a journey of self renewal
