A 15 year old teen was skateboarding in an empty plaza. People watching him in a circle as he did tricks. William whistled as he flipped the skateboard and landed safety on it. He stopped skating, and kicked up the board, catching it.
The crowd applauded. William walked away without a word. He caught a glimpse of Jeremy and walked over, sitting next to him. He smiled, and gave a small wave to Jere. Jeremy gave a quivering smile and nodded.
William pulled out his phone and just stared at it. After a few hours, he walked away.
"Where are you going?" A girl asked.
"My usual place." He responded.
The crowd walked away, saying their goodbyes. William kept walking, until he ran into a tall man. He looked up.
Someone grabbed William and held him up by the neck.
"Watch where you're going, loser!" The one he ran into sneered.
"You shouldn't be blocking the whole sidewalk, A-hole!" William yelled.
"Was that a challenge?" The man said.
William glared. Then slowly nodded.
