Chapter 5

Annie's pov

It was Hayden!!!

"Hi Hayden!!!" I said walking to him for a hug

"Annie??" Hayden asked

"Yes Hayden??" I asked curious

"Is it ok if Kenzie could stay here tonight since we're leaving I think in two days" Hayden said

"Sure, but one of you guys sleep with Annie and the other person sleeps on the couch" My mom said

"I'll sleep on the couch and Kenzie will sleep with Annie" Hayden said

"Ok, I guess I'll sleep with Annie" Kenzie said with a grin

"YOU GUYS ITS DINNER TIME!!" My mom said from the kitchen

We got off my bed and walked to the kitchen

"Mom, whats for dinner??" I asked my mom as I sat on a chair

"Lasagna" My mom said

"My favourite, thanks ms Leblanc" Hayden said smiling

"Call me Katie, I insist" My mom said

"Ok ms katie" Hayden said

Everybody else came and we said a prayer before eating and I was the one who had to say the prayer today

After I said the prayer, we all started eating our food and everyone was talking about things

After we ate, we all had to go to sleep

I changed into my pjs and fell asleep right away

Hayden's pov

While I was sleeping, my dad woke me up in the middle of the morning and told us we're about to leave

So I grabbed a paper and pen and wrote a note on the paper and set it beside her nightstand

"Hayden let's go" My dad whispered

I didn't finish the note so I just set it down and left

Me and Kenzie grabbed our bags and walked out the door and Billy (Annie's dad)

Billy dropped us off to the airport and we waited for our plane

Annie's pov

Morning

I woke up and Kenzie was gone but once I got up, I saw a note on my nightstand

I opened the paper and it was from Hayden!!!

It read

Dear Annie,

We had to leave early but while you're reading this, we may or may not have been on the airplane or we landed but all I want to say is

I lov.......

Wait, what was Hayden going to say?? Was he going to say I love you??

I just ignored it and went down to eat breakfast

"Hi mom" I said sitting on the island

"Hi sweetie!!" My mom said flipping a pancake on the pan

"Pancakes??!!" I said excitedly

"Yes your favourite" my mom said laughing

My mom gave me a plate with two pancakes on it

"Thanks mom" I said taking the whip cream and putting some on the pancake

"No problem" my mom said

Hayley came out of her room and sat beside me with her morning hair

"Goodmorning Hayhay!!" My mom said giving her a plate with pancakes on it

"Mom??" I asked cutting a piece of pancake

"Yes Annie??" My mom asked

"Where's Hayden and the others??" I asked

"They left last night" My mom said

"Hi Jayden!!" I said talking to her through the phone

"Hi Annie!!" Jayden answers back

"Are you doing anything today??" I asked

"Nothing, what are you doing??" Jayden asked

"Do you want to go to the mall later??" I said

"Sure" Jayden said

"Ok bye!!" I said hanging up

I set my phone down and went downstairs

"Mom??" I walked to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge

It read,

Annie,

Me, your father and Hayley went somewhere very important so here's some cash and you can go anywhere you want to go with your friends but we want you back before 9:00pm and we're coming back around 7:15-7:30pm because it's a really long drive from here and back.

I guess I'm going to go to shopping with Jayden today

I ran back to my room and started changing

While I was waiting for Jayden, I heard a knock at the door

So I get up and open it and see two mens at the door dressed in black

"Need anything??" I asked getting a little scared

Before I could close the door, one of the men stopped the door and barged into my house

"Excuse me, you guys aren't suppose to come in without my permission"

The two mens with around the house searching for stuff and had like these black pillows cases

I watched them enter my parents bedroom and taking my mom's jewelry

And then they come down the stairs and take some more stuff

"GET OUT OF HERE OR ELSE I WILL CALL THE POLICE!!!" I said screaming

I grabbed the house phone since my phone was upstairs and was about to call the police but one of the mens covered my head with something

I wake up and see nothing in a room I'm in

"SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!" I screamed

I heard footsteps so I stayed where I was

The person came in and said

"Be quiet"

"WHY AM I HERE??!!" I asked

The person took off their mask and it was....

"KATIE??!!".......
