i stopped by their offices the next morning. it was a small building in the city with pictures of the idols who had already volunteered with the organization shown proudly on their walls.
at the front desk was a young woman whose eyes widened in surprise when she recognized me. a big smile formed on her lips, but she tried so hard to act like i was a normal person.
"can i help you?" she asked me.
i began sheepishly, "i was just wondering how i can join the free smiles club and start volunteering as soon as possible."

i was going to try to post all of the remaining chapters tonight. and i almost finished writing all of it. i just need one and a half more. but im super tired. its eleven at night. so i'll just finish this story and post the rest of it when i wake up tomorrow.
