I roll my eyes as I hear girls whispering to one another about me as I walk down the corridor. They always say the same things.

"Everyone knows that she likes Draco."

"She focuses too much on school."

"They can't be just friends!"

I look around and see my best friend, Draco Malfoy, leaning against the lockers, watching me. I smile in his direction and walk over to him. He opens up his arms, waiting for a hug.

"Morning," he greets me, hugging me as he does every day.

"Morning, Malfoy."

I enjoyed his hugs. His arms would always find their way to my waist. He would rest his head on top of mine while I'd giggle into his chest. As much as we didn't want to, we pulled away from the hug.

"What are you going to do for the holidays?" Draco asked, walking beside me. We aimlessly ventured around the school, just talking.

"My parents are separating and they keep on fighting about where I should go for the holidays. So, more than likely, I'll be staying here for the Christmas break," I sighed.

"Come stay at the manor with me. Mother and father said that I could invite a friend over for the holidays," he nervously said, playing with the stray thread on his cloak.

"I'd love to, thank you Draco."

I'm currently at an 'End Of Year 6' party. The place is littered with red solo cups and concoctions of alcohol.

"Are you alright, Y/N?" Luna asked, scaring me.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I replied back to her, shouting over the music.

"How come you're not with Draco?"

"I want him to celebrate."

"Oh, ok," and with that, she walked off.

I had let Draco wander off so that he wouldn't be tormented by the Golden Trio about us hanging out together. After a while, it started getting really annoying. Harry has always hated Draco and he turned salty towards me ever since I rejected him to go to the Yule Ball.

I smiled at Draco from the other end of the Slytherin table. I looked to my left, to the Griffindor table, to see Harry James Potter walking up to me with a smile planted on his face.

This kid is that annoying. He's been following me and trying to talk to me for the past week. I've wanted to punch him in the jaw badly, but then the whole school would hate me.

"Hi Y/N," Harry greeted me, sitting on the Griffindor bench seat that was directly behind me. I rolled my eyes before turning around on the bench and facing him.

"Good afternoon, Harry," I greeted the chosen one. I looked behind and Harry to see the whole Griffindor table staring at the pair of us. I focused my attention back on the boy.

"Um, I've been a bit scared to ask you this but-"

"Just spit it out, Potter!" Fred Weasley yelled at him. I giggled. Harry blushed and closed his eyes for a brief second before opening them back up and looking into my eyes. I searched his eyes for some clue of what was happening.

"I was wondering if you would like to go to the Yule Ball with me?" He asked, gulping after he said so.

"I'm sorry Harry, I really am, but I'm going with Draco."

A look of horror fell onto his face. The Griffindor table looked at me dumbfounded.

"That-That's fine," he stuttered, standing up, balling his fists and walking back to where he was previously sitting.
