(Outfit above) We all went down to the lab to see Davenports new invention
"Inventing the wheel? Boring. Discovering electricity? Snooze—" Davenport started, leading us to a tarp covered object
"I disagree," I spoke, igniting my hands in sparks, "Electricity it awesome."
"Okay, well, that's cause you have superpowers! Let me finish. Sliced bread? Lame. But now, Davenport industries introduced the world's first. . ." Davenport removed the tarp and some weird invention took its place
"Proton fuser!" Davenport finished, the rest of us stood there, not knowing what to do
"You know, for a scientist you'd think your payoffs would be a bit more proportionate to your buildups," Leo pointed out
"Uh, the payoff is that it allows us to see the origins of the universe. This thing fuses sub-atomic particles, so we can understand how planets form," Davenport explained
"Well, we already understand how boredom forms," Bree spoke
"Haven't you ever wondered where stuff comes from? Galaxies? Stars? Planets?" Davenport wondered
"This stuff, no. Onion rings, yes," Adam spoke
"Guys, I have always wanted to build this thing, and now it's a reality. It's an important life lesson: if you have a dream, believe in it, 'cause it can happen," Davenport spoke
"Um, Mr. Davenport, isn't it dangerous to tinker with the fabric of the universe?" Chase wondered
"He said 'tinker'," Adam laughed
"Yes, technically, it could destabilize the earth, or open up a wormhole into a parallel universe. But I made it. And I want to play with it, so. . ." Davenport spoke and went to turn on the device
Two blues lasers were fired at each other, "Prepare to be amazed!"
"Or gravely injured," Chase spoke, Adam pushed us behind him and Chase pushed me behind him
A small bubbled began to appear with the two lasers, and then the lasers flickered out
"Once again, bug buildup, teeny, tiny payoff," Leo added
"Okay, the popcorn is popping and the movie is uploaded," Tasha spoke, and we looked at her weirdly, "Or downloaded. Whatever, the red thingy is blinking green. Just head upstairs, it's movie time!"
We all were excited and began to head upstairs, Tasha and Leo behind ~~~~~~~~ Once we got upstairs we were all sitting in the couch, watching the movie, I sat between Bree and Chase, the only one not watching the movie was Leo since he had chores
We were laughing at the dog, until Tasha yelled, "Leo!" And then Leo dropped a plate
"I said no movie. First you won't do the dishes, then you break them?" Tasha wondered
"Hey, you said you hate looking at dirty dishes and that's one less to look at," Leo spoke
"That is it. No TV for the rest of the week," Tasha punished
"That's not fair. By the way, I've seen this movie. I wouldn't get too attached to that dog," Leo spoke
"Leo!" I yelled, worried suddenly about the dog
