Chapter 6 - A Life and Death Battle

"Xerneas!" Bonnie gasped. "So pretty!"

Clemont held Bonnie back. "And Yveltal!"

"Strange combination," Bonnie noted. She then took out a small rodent from her bag. "Dedenne, be ready! Just because their destruction is pretty doesn't mean it's good!"

"Dedenne!" The Pokemon got in a stance, ready to fight as his cheeks sparked.

"Bonnie!" Clemont scolded. "It's too dangerous."

Bonnie looked back at Clemont. "Dedenne, use Thunder on Yveltal!"

Clemont sighed as Dedenne obeyed. "Bonnie!" He shrugged. "I guess I have no choice. Go, Luxray!"

"Lux!" The Pokemon grunted.

Yveltal flew up and used Oblivion Wing.

"Dedenne!" Bonnie cried as Dedenne fell to the ground.

"Dedenne!!" Dedenne got up shakily.

"Great job!" Bonnie cheered. "Use Thunder Wave on Xerneas!"

"Use Crunch on Yveltal!" Clemont commanded Luxray.

Both Pokemon obeyed, but Luxray was countered with a Hyper Beam And Dedenne was sent flying with a Moonblast.

"Dedenne!" "Luxray!" Bonnie and Clemont cried in unison.

"This isn't good," Bonnie muttered.

The legendary Pokémon repeated their previous moves.

Suddenly, two figures were seen, and they attacked the legendary Pokémon.

The siblings tried to make out the figures in the clouds of dust.

"Squishy!" Bonnie ran to the Zygarde emerging from the dust in its 100% form.

Behind the legendary was a familiar frog Pokemon. "And Ash-Greninja!" Bonnie cheered.

Clemont smiles, but it quickly faded. "We still have a battle to fight."

Bonnie nodded. "Right! Okay, Squishy! Dragon Pulse on Yveltal!"

"Greninja! Water Shuriken!" Clemont commanded.

Both Pokémon attacked, sending the legendaries flying back slightly.

Xerneas fell to the rocky ground, but slowly got up and used Moonblast, which Squishy narrowly dodged.

Yveltal emerged from ocean which it fell from, and flew upward, only to disappear.

"Yveltal!" Bonnie cried.

"You keep an eye out, Bonnie," Clemont commanded. "I will take on Xerneas!"

Bonnie nodded.

Suddenly, Yveltal appeared from behind. "Squishy! Jump quick!"

Zygarde obeyed, dodging Yveltal's Phantom Force.

Bonnie looked over to Greninja and Clemont battling side by side.

"Use Outrage!" Bonnie commanded.

Zygarde used the move, striking Yveltal down. The Dragon-Ground Type used it one final time, knocking Yveltal out before being confused.

Bonnie turned to Clemont, and it appeared her brother had also been very successful.

Bonnie high-fived Clemont. "We better bring these Pokémon to Ash, and help others with their battles with our own Pokémon."

Clemont nodded in agreement.
