I'm really annoyed at myself for writing this in present tense, I usually prefer past. I think I started this in present tense because it fit better for the situation etc, but I'm slightly sick of it. Yeah, I didn't try for very long 😂. So, my question is, would anyone mind if I swapped tenses at will? Maybe not in the middle of a chapter, but from time to time, whenever one or the other fits best. Ok, thanks for reading this if you did, it's my first ever authors note 🙃

P.P.S. This is me 4 years later, I went back and changed the last chapter to past tense, it's a little clunky now, but it was bugging me that the tense was inconsistent :)
