In the beginning of January, 2018, the member Yunho announces in a VLIVE, that Kid has become the leader.
He says: "Since our Junhoe is the leader now, he's probably having an hard time. He is cute and has a kind heart."
Not all fans understood what Yunho said, since not all of them know korean, so many were unaware of that.
Jungle never made an official statement but the thing became more serious when Soompi and many other press made articles about their comeback, referring to him as the leader of Varsity.
As for the name issue, member Bullet wrote on the fancafe: "Hello, this is Varsity's Junwoo.
The reason why I'm writing this, is because I have some news.
Some of you may have already noticed, but I've talked a lot with people in our company, and because I want to show my own self to our fans, I'll be using my real name, Junwoo as my stage name instead of Bullet, starting with this comeback.
It's sad to be changing a name that I've grown attached to, but I'll be continuing with my activities in the future as VARSITY's Junwoo, instead of Bullet.
