In a world where everything is dull until you meet your soulmate. Colors are bland, feelings are small, everything is dull and emotionless when it comes to good things.
I read a one shot that's like this tbh, I'm gonna try not to base my stuff off of others after this. But I couldn't come up with any other way to add this much magic.
I wrote like 3 pages about the colors of the rainbow earlier. Like I tool each color and picked a shade to write about. This is what I thought of for violet.
All of my friends have found their soulmate. They try describe what it feels like when you find them, but they end up being at a loss for words. My friend Lauren talks about meeting her girlfriend in such a beautiful way, but my mind just can't get a grasp of what it must feel like.
Ally, my friend who is basically my mother describes meeting her boyfriend as everything going from being dull, to looking at a simple flower and feeling happy.
But recently, her boyfriend got in a car accident and hasn't woken up yet, the doctors say that he will wake up within a few days time. Yet Ally's a wreck. Her usual 'ball of sunshine' attitude has turned to her seeing everything dull again.
So, here I am. Dull as ever, but hopefully someone in this flower shop has found their true love and can help me find some good flowers. Seeing as how I can't look at flowers without feeling sad, because I don't know how they really smell, I don't see their bright, happy colors.
I just see a plant.
I walked into the doors of the flower shop. A bell rung and it seemed that no one was in here.
I walked around to find a small girl tending to some flowers. But she had a small book in her hand with directions on how to tend to them. She must be like me, she must see everything as dull. Otherwise she wouldn't need that book.
My presence didn't go unnoticed and the girl turned around to face me.
Her eyes widened and so did mine. I felt a rush of something in my stomach and it fluttered all the way up to my face as I smiled widely. Is this what it's like to meet your soulmate?
"Y- you're beautiful." The girl looked at me in awe
I blushed and looked down. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself, the aroma of the flower shop filling my lungs. Flowers smell so good.
"Where have you been all my life?" I asked still wearing the smile I got when our eyes first met
"I could ask you the same thing." She smiled
"C- can I hug you?" I asked hesitantly
"I've got something better." She smirked and jumped on me
She koala hugged me for a few seconds. We took in each other's scents and it felt as if our hearts and minds entangled.
The girl removed her head from the crook of my neck and left our faces inches apart while I still held her.
Her eyes seemed to fill with love as her gaze met my lips. She bit her lip softly as she looked into my eyes.
This would be a weird situation if we lived in a different world, but when you meet your soulmate, you're supposed to kiss them to assure that the dullness leaves as long as you both breathe.
I smiled and licked my lips as I connected my lips with the florist's. We broke apart due to us smiling like idiots.
"I'm Camila." She girl whispered, her breath hitting my neck
I shivered at the feeling.
"I'm Y/N." I smiled putting her down
"Well, it seems we are soulmates." She grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers
I pecked her lips once more and tried pulling away, only for Camila to grab my head to keep our lips together. I smiled as we kissed.
"I'm on break, come with me." She smiled "We can go in the back room and learn things about each other."
I nodded and she led me into the small room.
