Chapter 47

Mark was wating in his car in fronot of Jessicah's house.

18:16 PM

It was 16 minutes after the time they had agreed on. However, Mark wasn't that impatient. He knew Tzuyu needed more time. All girls are the same.

Jess is calling

Mark looked at his phone screen and picked it up.

"Come here, Mark" Jessicah told him and then immidietely hang up.

He made sure that he locked his car before entering the house. Jessicah opened the door for him and then he followed her to the room where Tzuyu was waiting.

"Tada!" Jessicah said after opening the door.

Mark was frozen.

He was mesmerized by Tzuyu's beauty. She just looked like a beautiful doll or a movie star. He didn't know what to do in that moment, except feeling happy. He got butterflies in his stomach.

"Mark, you know you have to breathe to live." Jessicah snapped him back to the reality where he still had blushing Tzuyu standing in front of him. "You scared me. I don't know how you are going to react when you see her in the wedding dress. I hope your heart won't stop beating."

"Ah, stop it Jess. You're being silly. You won't trust me, Mark. But Jessicah really spent whole the time speaking about Joey!" Tzuyu walked up toward him slowly. "I don't want to be rude or anything. I'm really not. But you're 1m72 high and with these 10cm heels I'm afraid of the fact that people are going to look at me as a small Asian boy."

She stood in front of the mirror and checked it again. "Oh, you're right."

After that she got 5cm heels. Even though when they stood next to each other. Tzuyu was still a little bit taller than him.

"Let's go, Yuyu." He wrapped his right arm around Tzuyu's waist and left Jessicah's house. Before leaving he told Jessicah one thing. "Joey's going to sleep at you tonight!"

"So Jess likes Joey?" Mark asked Tzuyu with a smirk. He knew that Joey like Jessicah but never thought that Jessicah would like him too.

"Yes, she said that she's kind of jealous when he's with other girls. He compliments other girls but not her. He teases her a lot and she doesn't like him doing that. And she even told me that he's so dumb for not realizing her feelings toward him yet." Honestly, Jessicah was dumb too. Joey gave her so many hints.

For y'all it's kind of familiar, right? Well, because Mark and Tzuyu were also dumb. They didn't realize their feelings for each other.

In short, Tuan brothers were the same.

"Mark, did you really book whole the restaurant just for us?" She was surprised when entered an empty restaurant. It never happened to her before. Little did she know that the one who booked was his parents.

Mark didn't answer her. He just accompanied her to the table in the middle of the balcony.

"It's such a mesmerizing view from here!" She looked around at the beach. The view of the sunset and sea was stunning.

"But there's something more beautiful than that." He said and back hugged her. "It's you."

"M-Mark..." She blushed, making me chuckle.

"Let's eat, I'm sure you're hungry too."

I couldn't help but stare at her whole the time we were eating. Everytime she smiles my heart flutters, don't ask me why - obviously it's the smile I've fallen in love with.

"Why are you not eating, Mark?" She snapped me back from my thoughts. "Is there anything wrong?"

"No, it's perfect. Everything - the view, the food, the weather and you." I said making her blush.

It's the right time, Mark.

"Tzuyu. Do you remember our first encounter? I was young back then and you were still a baby, so cute and adorable. The way you held my finger was so cute. I was a child and said that I would marry you in the future. Many years later we met each other again. I believe it wasn't just a coincidence. DNA in my blood vessels were telling me that you are the one I've been looking for. 3 years later we came across each other. I feel guilty for being blind not recognizing you - it was just you grew up in beauty and peace. However, I still fell in love with you. Sometimes I feel so stupid for everything I've done to you. The thing with Emma, Sana and all. Honestly I didn't know what got to me that time. And when I discovered that I have a fiancée I was mad at myself and my parents. After finding out you were the one I knew the Lord let us be together." She stared at me with tears in her eyes and a little smile on her lips.

"I love your smile, your eyes, your laugh, every single thing on you. I love you. Would you forgive me for everything I've done to you? I promise I'm going to be a better man - A man that deserves you. A man that will love you no matter what and would never let you go." I kneeled down in front of her with a small box in my hand. Slowly opening it I said: "Marry me, Tzuyu?"

She was speechless. She couldn't speak up and say anything. The fact she was totally surprised and shocked. She nodded.

"Yes, Mark. Yes, I will marry you."
