Looking back,
Some of us will think to ourselves
"We've been through some shit.
We've come a long way.
Or I'm still in the same place as yesterday."
Some of us will think
"I wouldn't have it any other way.
My experiences are what mold me."
While some of will space off with eyes dull and think
"My experiences have destroyed me."
Our experiences can be what give us humanity or what makes us lose it.
"It's all about your reaction to the situation."
"That's not exactly something you can control."
I know.
All I'm asking for is a little peace of mind.
