Nate's P. O. V

What the hell have my parents done! I haven't told them about Kelly yet because I wanted it to be a surprise but instead I find out that they arranged for me to get married to someone who is not only my mate and who is also a brat that only wants power.

She's even wearing my mom's crown when she was princess and that angers me even more.

To make matters worse, it was my ex girlfriend Miss Miranda Luiz. I got out and went to the other side of the car where Romeo was asleep in his car seat.

I could feel the burning curiosity and so I continued to pick him up and then opened Kelly's door. I grabbed her hand and walked up to Miranda and my parents with Romeo still fast asleep in my arms.

"Hello mother and father"

"Hello son,  who is this?"

"I'd like you to meet my mate Kelly Ruiters and her son Romeo Ruiters"

My mother eyed Kelly disgustingly and said in a disgust manner.

"But she has a child with another wolf , surely she couldn't wait for you"

My wolf growled at my mother for disrespecting our mate and wanted to say something but Kelly beat me to it

"Your majesty, your son is my second chance mate. I had a mate but he rejected me"

My father understood because he mindlinked me saying that its okay and that he accepts them , but my mother still looked sceptical

"How nice of you. Kelly meet Miranda,  Nate's real mate and fiancé"

When my mother said that,  wolf growled loudly as I pulled Kelly closer to me. I could see that what my mother had just said had affected her greatly as I could see the hurt in her eyes.

She wanted to cry but kept it in. She lift her head high and spoke like a true Luna and Queen

"Oh well then uhm, can I please know where me and my son would be staying for the weekend"

Before my mother could reply probably by saying that they should sleep by the servants , I took matters into my own hands and stepped in

"No baby you're staying with me in my room and Romeo will be right next door to us"

My mother obviously didn't like what I had said as she shook her head violently

"No,  no, no that won't do. You are to stay with your mate which is Miranda"

I shook my head and calmed my wolf before he attacked my own mother

"No mother,  Kelly is my mate and I'm staying with her. Come on baby let's go unpack"

I grabbed Kelly's hand and walked towards the west wing where my room is situated at.

Before we went to our room,  I laid Romeo down in his room and gently closed the door so he wouldn't wake up

After that we went to our room and I placed the bags down. Miranda came to our room and spoke

"Nate I really think you should respect your mom's wishes"

I shook my head and held Kelly in my arms. I could see Miranda was getting all angry because she glared at Kelly who was in my arms.

"No I'm not going to stay in the same room as you and I sure as hell not staying away from my mate"

She wanted to say something more but I pushed her out of our room and slammed the door in her face.

I could hear her stomping away acting all innocent. I chuckled and pulled Kelly closer to me while kissing her forehead.
