You work at a bar, and Steve comes over to Order a drink and you to get to talking.
"I would like 1 shit of whiskey please." Steve says over the music as he reaches for his wallet.
"Please, it's in the house. Captain America shouldn't have to pay for a shot of whiskey." You say, handing him his drink.
"Oh I insist." He places a 50 dollar bill down, and slides it over towards you.
You blink and slide it back.
"I can't take this."
"Yes you can. And you will."
He hands it to you, and you gently take it. Signing, you place it in you're back pocket.
"So," he reads the name tag on your shirt. "Y/n, where you from.?"
You rest your elbow on the counter.
"Believe it or not but Brooklyn."
"Wait, seriously?"
You nod and you two continue to talk about both of your lives, and all the small but important details. Gaining a sort of interest, neither of you have ever had with anyone.
