• dallas wanted to be a painter when he was little
• dallas gets upset when people call him a hoodlum. in the moment, he'll laugh about it, but when he's alone and has time to think about it, it gets to him
• dallas watched sunsets when he was a little kid
• when dallas didn't have anywhere to go, he'd go to the lot with johnny. they'd never talk, just share a cigarette and lay there
• dal hates little kids so much because a little kid ratted him out the first time he was put in jail
• dally was the only person to ever tell johnny he loved him (it was one of those nights in the lot)
• if dally ever has free time, he reads comic books
• dallas likes to pretend he's the hero in these comics
• dallas sings in the shower (a lot.)
• one time he was showering at the curtis' house and darry had to tell dallas that everybody could hear him singing in the living room
• his favorite food is pizza, even though he hardly gets to eat it
• dallas loved johnny more than he could express, and when he asked ponyboy how he got out feelings, pony told him to write about them, and dal always found himself late at night trying to write about johnny
• dallas used to throw rocks and other things at cop cars with tim shepard
• right before he died, everything flashed before his eyes, and he thought about ponyboy, and how beat up he would be after everything, and he wanted to stay alive for him
