"Who are you?" You asked the person hugging you. Something about the embrace of this person didn't make your instinct of pushing them away go off.

Ciel let go. "What do you mean 'who are you'?" It's me, Ciel."

You didn't know who this 'Ciel' was. It all seemed so... familiar, yet not. "Im sorry, I don't know who you are. Have we met before?"

His insides filled with sadness. How could in be that you'd forget him? "You're joking right? Please be joking, (Y/N), please... if this is your way of getting revenge of me stop this please." He grabbed your hand and held it tightly, almost crying.

"I don't recall anything, I'm sorry. Maybe you're confusing me for someone else?" You slowly let go of his hand and lowered it slowly back at your sides. You looked for Hannah too.

Glossy, teary eyes could be seen on Ciel. It didn't seem possible to him that you'd forget him. He was about to say something when Sebastian came close to his ear to whisper. "Young master, I can't seem to sense her soul just like when we were looking for her. She's defiantly alive, but there's some force not letting me to detect her soul. Something must have happened to her for her soul not to be detected and for her to forget you."

"Who could've done such a thing? It's an evil thing to do and achieve..." Ciel whispered back.

"What?" You said.

Ciel looked back frantically at you. "Ah, nothing. It was nothing." He continued to stare at you, missing you and your embrace.

Feeling awkward, you stepped back. "I think I should get going. I have to buy a gift for my fiancé and I have to find my friend. I don't know where she is so--"

"Maybe we can help you, Madame? More people do get the job done with cooperation." Sebastian said as he interrupted your sentence. "Along the way, you might find your friend too." He did his signature close eyed smiles at you.

"I guess it would be help. Thank you."

Before Sebastian left, he told Ciel to try to get information out of you and your life. He also said to check if anything seemed different or off. After that, he left the two of you alone to do the shopping together.

The both of you went into a gardening store for Finny's gift and started a conversation after a long, awkward silence between the two of you. "What do you think I should get Finny?" Ciel said.

"What is he like?" You asked.

'She really did forget then...' "Well, he's a very cheerful person with a positive attitude. He loves to garden, so he tends the garden at my manor. That's why I think he'd like something he could use."

You smiled. "That's very thoughtful of you, Ciel." You said. From the corner of your eyes, you saw a pair of nice gloves and grabbed them to show Ciel. "What about these? I think the gloves would be very nice."

He took the gloves from your hand. As he did, he felt your fingertips softly touch his and his heart pounded with sadness. "Thank you. They would be a nice gift." He went to pay for them with you. "Say, what will you get your... fiancé?" The word 'fiancé' was hard to get out.

"Actually, I don't know. I don't really... know him, I guess." You lightly laughed. "Funny... we're fiancés yet I don't even know what he would like as a gift. Almost as if I didn't know him."

Ciel battled with his thoughts. All he could think about was how all this happened. He felt horrible about all that has happened that last few months. He wondered if you're doing this on purpose, or if you actually somehow forgot. If you were doing it on purpose, we'll what a good actor you are.
