In 2011, Peyton would put his career in jeopardy. Some reports say he had injured his neck during the 2010 season, but regardless, he still had to have surgery and he still missed the entire 2011 season and the colts did not make the playoffs and finished the year with a 2-14 record.
The following offseason he was released from the colts. Jim Irsay was the owner then and many believe it was the wrong move. Peyton then gets picked up by the Denver Broncos and has a career 2013 season.
