Although it was a disappointing year statistically, Peyton did win a super bowl out of it. In the year 2015, Peyton was hurt for only the second time in his career. And he missed time for it. Although he missed time, the broncos still won with great defense and solid QB play from Brock Osweiler.
The broncos were not favorites nor expected to beat the 15-1 Panthers in that super bowl. But great defense by Von Miller and the broncos D was the key to the victory. Von Miller did end up winning MVP with a strip sack on Cam Newton in the game.
Peyton ending up throwing his last pass in that game, as a bronco or player. It was cought by one of the non-famous bronco receivers, Bennie Fowler.
