[ADVENT] is a story idea I've been toying with lately (although I can already imagine the 'ugh, Jax, no (－‸ლ)' responses just because of theme, lmfao). I'm aiming to concept art my way through all the entire main cast in this fashion. However, Connie is my favourite and I've been wanting a solid idea of her for ages so she got to go first ( ' ▽ ' )b
(I was actually only supposed to do the portrait at first but at some point I got carried away. Fantasy characters are fun.)
It turned out a lot cuter than I thought it would - especially considering how messy it is.
I'm also not sure if I like her with light hair or dark hair. I'll have to run a few colouring tests at some point to see.
Couple of questions for the art book stalkers who do read books on WattPad (and yes, I know these come up on IYW from time to time):
1) Would you touch a 'trapped in an MMO' fantasy novel or not?
2) Do anime-style covers (on WattPad) affect your decision to check out a novel when you see it? (I have had a couple of people look at my cover for Touch on those 'would you read based on the cover' threads and say that they wouldn't click on it because it looks too anime.)
