"Weasley, Fred!" called McGonagall.
I winked at you and ran up, putting the sorting hat over my head.
"GRYF- Hey! You're George, not Fred!" the hat cried.
The school laughed, some students facepalming or shaking their heads. Dumbledore even let out a hearty chuckle.
After a moment, the hat shouted, "Anyway, Weasley, George, GRYFFINDOR!"
Gryffindor cheered, especially our older brothers. I ran to join them at the table. (Author's note: Tbh idk which of their brothers were still at Hogwarts when the twins were first year. Whatever.)
"Weasley, Georg- uh- Fred!" called McGonagall again, looking quite unsure what to make of us. You ran up, and the hat shouted, "GRYFFINDOR!"
I have to admit I was secretly relieved we were in the same house.

At that moment the hat shouted "GRYFFINDOR" for you, I had thought everything would be alright. I thought we could be together forever, pulling pranks and making others laugh. Will it ever be possible again?
