My life is a hazardous wasteland. It is like if I step in a puddle, nine people question when the world will end. I am not even kidding about that one.
I am Rogue Blair and became the smartest woman in the world just a few weeks ago. Now, you probably think that I am either old, a nerd, or lonely. Well I am not old but the others are correct.
I mean, I am smart but I can also be cool. According to my neighbors Tyler and Tarek Harlum. Identical twins. Insanely hyper at all times. We were friends since before I was the S.W.I.T.W., but not very much. They would surprise me with a visit at any time of the day and I would still be happy. I still need human contact.
I usually go to work throughout the week and have the weekend off as well as Monday's. On the days I have off, I read and watch Netflix.
My alarm shook me out of my thoughts and I slapped down the button. I had woken up an hour before and was now very tired.
I got up for the day, it was 5:00 A.M. and the bookstore opens at 6:00. I walked down the hallway to the bathroom in my small apartment. I took my shower, and looked in the mirror in my towel. I brushed out my normally curly hair until it was straight and wet still. I grabbed my old clothes and walked out into the hall again.
Remember when I said that my neighbors would pop up at any time of day and I would be happy? I wasn't lying. When I walked into my room, Tarek was sitting on my bed on his phone and Tyler was going through my drawers.
I shrieked for two seconds and they both looked up to me. Their faces were opposite from mine, very excited.
"Rogue!" They said in unison. Their smiles were as bright as ever.
"Wait where are your clothes," asked Tyler.
"And why are you wet," continued Tarek.
They looked at each other and laughed at the dirty joke hidden inside those questions.
"Yes. Ha ha. So funny, now get out of my room so I can get dressed. You may both come with me to work today if you would like." I said with my arms pointing towards the door. They raced each other out, most likely going to the couch and watching something.
Meanwhile, I got my outfit together. A tight fitting black short-sleeved top, a high waisted mini skirt with a red plaid pattern, white clip on suspenders, black mesh leggings, and a pair of white and black Nike high tops. I topped off the look with a white fedora and my black glasses. I had touched up my eyes with some mascara and then walked out of my room with my phone in hand. My hair was now dry, curly, and frizzy once again.
Once outside, I saw that Tyler and Tarek had been on the couch eating toast.
"Yes, of course," I started, "you can have some toast."
They looked up and I looked at the time. It was currently 5:30. Enough time to make a quick breakfast and drive to work. I walked over to my fridge and grabbed some eggs.
"Do you want some actual breakfast," I asked them. They were at the breakfast bar in three seconds flat.
After making three eggs, I put them on plates and gave the plates to everyone. I stood up and ate my breakfast as they scarfed theirs down. When we finished, we walked out of my apartment and locked it up. After getting to my small red corvette, we got inside. Tyler climbed into the back, while Tarek and myself got into the passenger and drivers seat. When I turned on the car, the top automatically came down and I drove out of our parking lot.

After getting to the store, we unlocked the doors and they helped me turn everything on. At 6:00, we opened the store and I put on the badge with my "name". I use a fake one do people don't know who I am. It read 'Melyssa' and underneath that, where the job title would normally be, it read 'Can Do Anything For You'.
The badge was made specially for me and I am the only who has one like this. I work alone on my shifts, everyone else has someone to work with but me. I prefer the quiet though. Just me, my music, and my books. Tyler and Tarek found something to do in this time that they were here.
My phone vibrated on the counter. I will have to see who texted me after work. That came quicker than usual and I gave the shop over to the next workers. They had to lock up.
After gathering my things and the twins, we left.
The twins went to their apartment and decided not to bother me for the rest of the day. Once inside my house, I took off my shoes and looked at who texted me.

I know

I replied with this and shut off my phone. I do not care if it is a random person. I know that is what happens. So that is what I say.
I'm not afraid to say it.
