As the final drip of rain
Falls motionlessly in the lane
I walked stiff
I walk fast
I walk quicker
I was fast
I was crying
I was tearing
But I felt nothing
Nothing inside me felt right
Nothing I felt
Was comforting that night
Millions of needle shot me,
Millions of broken pieces fall from me,
I stopped and I pant
I fall and I rant
I shout and I scream
Hoping it was a dream
I felt cold
I felt none
I felt nothing
But sudden numb
