~Lady Maria~
"Welcome to Galdin Quay!"
The five friends walked up to the lobby for the resort, where a small bar in the middle of the room could be seen with chefs working on refreshing drinks and scrumptious meals for the customers. They walked inside only to stop when they see a tall man dressed in strange robes for clothing, although they were certainly that of higher class status the longer they looked at them. The man had an slightly older face with a head of dark, messy red-violet hair and amber eyes. He casually strode over to the group as they watched him curiously.
"I'm afraid you're out of luck," the suspicious stranger said in smooth, velvety voice.
"Are we?" Noctis asked, raising his brow.
"The boats bring you here?" he says, motioning to the boats with a grin.
"What about 'em?" Prompto asked.
"Well, they'll not take you forth," the man replied, looking out to the ferry. He turned his attention back to the young group as his eyes landed on the pretty red-haired girl standing next to the prince.
"Why, hello there, young miss," the stranger greets in a gentleman-like manner as he approaches her slowly. He stopped just a foot away from her, making the other guys uncomfortable and frown at how close he'd gotten to their friend. "I must say, 'tis a pleasure to be in the presence of such a lovely young woman such as yourself," the man says in an alluring voice. Then without warning, the stranger gently took hold of Nuraya's gloved hand held it up between them, looking at her with eyes that seemed to glimmer with mischief. Not wanting to come off as rude, Nuraya put on a small smile and nodded to the man.
"Thank you very much, sir," she thanked as she slowly pulled her hand from his, although it might have come off as a bit forced because the man only chuckled and smiled wider. Nuraya felt that there was something incredibly off about this man, and she was sure that the others felt the same way judging by the looks they were giving him, especially the glare that Noctis was giving the man. He was practically watching the man like a hawk. The man then turned around to face the guys with a grin.
"What's your story?" Gladio asks in suspicion.
"I'm an impatient traveler, ready to turn ship," the stranger replies slowly as he turns away and walks past them, holding something up in his hand. "This ceasefire's getting us nowhere." Then the stranger spins around and flicks something shiny towards Noctis, making him flinch as the prince's shield reaches out and catches the object in his hand before it could hit the prince. Gladio opens his hand to reveal a shiny, silver coin.
"What's this, some sort of souvenir?" he asks looking at the coin.
"They make those?" the blonde friend asks quickly.
"What? No."
"Consider it your allowance," the strange man grins.
"Yeah, and who's allowing us?" Gladio asks skeptically, eyeing him down. The strange man simply holds his arms out and tilts his head to the side as his amber eyes flickered with mystery and mischief, replying with only a vague and strange answer to the shield's question.
