After I slam the door shut, Jace walks over to me and grabs my arms forcefully.
"Why did you let those men touch you! You should be able to kill them! For God's sake you have magic!" Jace screams at me right up in my face. I start crying my eyes out.
"WELL MAYBE I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THE MUNDANE WORLD ISN'T MEANT TO KNOW ABOUT US! I DIDN'T WANT TO VE ARRESTED OR GIVEN TO THE THREE BROTHERS! I ALSO FELT VIOLATED, LOBELY, ALONE, ASHAMED, AND DIRTY!" I shout right back in his face. Jace looks angry still but also worried and sorry. I shove him away and grab 3 bags from my shopping trip with the gurl. "I'm going to see if Izzy will let me stay with her for a little while. Goodbye Jace." I state then walk out of the room to Izzy's.
"Mags what's wrong? Did Jace hurt you!? I'll kill him!" Isabelle asks protectively pulling me into her room.
"Iz can I stay in here for a few days? Yes Jace hurt me. He yelled at me demanded why I didn't protect myself, and why did I not want to tell him. I told him the truth and he just stared at me like I was a freak." I tell her putting my bags by her closet and sitting on her bed next to her.
"Oh Sweetie. You met Jace's alto ego, his harsher side. Felix." Isabelle explains to my statement, but one question runs through my head.
'Why didn't he tell me about this?'
