wednesday ; chaeyoung's pov

his eyes glistened as he read my notebook during lunch time. i stared at him as he sat alone and read my notebook. at some times, he smiled sometimes as he was reading. he flipped the pages, one by one, reading each page.

i miss writing in that book. the pencil would move quickly as i poured all of my ideas on there. now he has that book. i don't know if he will give it back or not. i hope he does.

"chae why don't you ask for it back?" asked nayeon.

"hmm i might" i said "but then it will be awkward after".

"your right" said jinhee "but it's so special".

"yeah" i said sadly.

"go for it!" nayeon smiled cheerfully.

"yeah!" jinhee said.

"i'll go ask him" i smiled cheerfully.

i smiled and got up. i quickly walked past all the tables. everyone was loudly talking. i swiftly passed everyone and went to his table. he seemed too into the book to notice i was there. he was about halfway reading as i could tell.

"hi... sorry to bother you but... is that my book?" i asked him shyly.

he looked up at me and his mouth opened a little as like he was looking at an angel. he looked back down at his book. he stared down for a few seconds.

he grabbed the book in a flash and ran out of the cafeteria quickly. huh? why did he run off? i'm so confused. i went back to nayeon and jinhee quickly.

"he ran off" i said sadly "i don't know why... i was being polite".

"yah don't worry" jinhee said "i'm sure he had a reason".

"yeah" nayeon said "he will surely give you back your notebook".

"yup!" jinhee smiled.

why did jungkook run away when i asked him about my notebook? i'm so confused. even if he ran off, he did look cute.
