Do you feel empty? Inside?
Do you feel nothing when they are with you? Or do you feel the touch of their skin against yours?
After everything that happened between us, does your heart still beat?
Does it race as you kiss them? Touch them the same ways you did me?
Or has it stopped just like mine?
Because it stopped when you left.
And all I'm left with is memories. Memories of us.
The laughter.
The silent teardrops.
The chasing games.
The kisses shared in corners of the rooms.
And all I feel is empty. And maybe it's because I gave you everything.
And in giving everything to you, I have nothing left for the person who now loves me.
