Your POV:

The next morning my dad was going on a business trip for a week, which was good because if he found out I kissed Benny, I'd be it a whole sack of trouble

"Alright you two" mom said "I'll be back in an hour"

"/Y/N/ you're in charge" my dad said

"Yes sir!" I Said "Where are you going?" I asked

"Chicago" He said

"Oh, ok" I Said

"And Scotty" He said "while I'm gone, you're the man of the house"

Then they drove off

"Are you feeling ok?" I asked Scotty

"Yeah I'm fine, I'm sorry I did that" he said

"It's fine, you are forgiven, Alright, let's go!" I Said then we ran to meet up with the guys

When we got there we of course bought the baseball and Ham Said

"We have to swear that we will never do that stuff again!" He said

"Agreed!" Everyone said except for Benny and I

"I hope you learned your lesson" I said crossing my arms

"Yeah-Yeah, we did" Yeah Yeah Said

When we arrived at the Sandlot the boys wanted me to bat for some reason

"Why guys?" I asked

"You were amazing last time, Come on!" Ham Said

Then everyone else was cheering me on

"Ok ok, I'll bat" I said grabbing the bat from Benny's hand

"Wait, hold up!" Ham Said

"What?" I asked

"What did you and Benny do while you were gone?" He asked crossing his arm

"Yeah yeah what did you do?!" Yeah Yeah asked

"We just... hung out" Benny said looking over at me and smiling

"Let's just play!" I Said "base up ya blockheads!"

They all went to their spot as I made my way to home, for some reason, then, everything went in slow motion, Kenny was ready to pitch, and I was ready to bat, he threw the ball, crack, I hit the ball, but I looked at it, and something, strange, happened, the skin of the base came off, and Scotty caught the other part of the ball, then we all ran to look at the skin on the ground

"I don't believe it!" Ham Said

"This isn't real" I Said

"/Y/N/, only two or three guys in history has ever busted the guts out of a ball, but a girl!!!??" Squints Said

"Must be an Oman" Tommy said

"Well, all this means is that we can't play no more" I Said "sorry guys I just ruined the whole day for us"

"Don't be sorry /Y/N/" Benny said

"Yeah that's the most amazing thing I e ever saw" Kenny said

"Anybody got any money?" I asked

"No" They all said in unison

"Then it's not ok, now we can't play no more" I Said
