“A music concert and Min Ho is going to perform? And he has send tickets for all of us?”
Owen asked Mandy who was nodding her head in reply. Three of us were sitting together in the hospital cafeteria and grabbing a quick lunch. I was trying hard to catch his attention, signalling him to say no to her.
“Sure, that sounds like fun. Count me in.”
Owen replied and I slump my shoulders hearing him.
“It’s on this coming Sunday, right? I have to run now.”
He said to Mandy while getting up from his seat.
“And yeah, Mandy. Make her agree to come with us.”
He again added giving us his lopsided grin before leaving the cafeteria.

“Mandy. How many times are we going to have this conversation? I am not going. Period.”
I told her folding my arms in front.
“Girl, you are so not over him.”
She remarked watching me.
“I am. What makes you think I am not?”
I replied exparasted.
“You have to prove it to me then,” she said.
“What?”
“That you are not affected by him anymore.”
Mandy was giving me one of her scrutinising looks.
“Mandy, you are impossible. What’s this got to do with me attending his concert?”
I protested raising both my hands in the air. She was just shaking her head in reply.

“Are you girls talking about me?”
Daniel asked us with a grin while coming up to our table.
“Daniel, you came at the right time.”
Mandy said to him with a big smile.
“Really?”
He asked her while sitting down on the seat beside me.
“You have to help me. For the past one hour, I have been trying so hard to convince her to come with me. There is a Korean Music Wave concert at Millenium Park this weekend and Min Ho has send us tickets. Many big K-pop artists and groups are also going to perform. Jack’s busy and I really want to go. If you come with us then she will also agree.”
She told him with eagerness in her voice.
“Mandy!”
I exclaimed hearing her.
“Well, I don’t know…”
Daniel replied sounding a bit reluctant.
“Come on, Daniel. You know how hard it is to get tickets for something like this. Plus, when was the last time you went out on a date with her?”
Mandy was trying hard to persuade him.
“Mandy, I think Daniel wouldn’t want to…”
“Okay. I will go.”
Daniel had cut in before I completed my sentence and was looking at my surprised face.
“Daniel, you are a sweetheart. Thank you.”
Mandy was gushing and giving me a triumphant look. I thought that Daniel will say no to it. First, Owen and now him. Mandy was getting away with it and I had failed miserably to escape. This is going to be really difficult. I thought feeling frustrated.
