Chapter 30 (not) the way I thought it would end

Bits of triangular and rectegular plates begin appearing on his skin before the technology started powering up, forming a metal exterior over his original body, realising this with the addition to the automated firing system from his
abandoned weapon, cinder changed her dual wielding blades to a large broadsword. You stood in awe as Theodore ran forward and blocked the broadsword with his arms. "No way, he did it." He gripped onto the sword and in one swift movement, snapped the blade in half as the armour begin to absorb the excess energy it provided bolstering the armour's defences. Causing cinder to be furious and using the remants on the broadsword as a bat and throwing Theodore into another column.

"Armour integrity at 74%" the computer drones. As Theodore groans from the pain "You did it, you just had to throw your weapon away." He chastise himself as he got up. "Why did you think that was a good idea?" He looked up as cinder brought a blade crashing down on him "Armour integrity at 70%" the computer stated

"That's it" Theodore muttered to himself. "Computer divert power to offensive systems."

"Warning," the computer chirps "defensive systems and armour integrity could be significantly lowered from power diversion."

"Override code, shut up and do what I tell you!" Theodore shouted in frustration.

The exterior armour on the left and right arms reformed into a small barrel that pointed to cinder and blasting her away with twin blue lance. Throwing her through a wall.
"Warning naquada generators are reaching maximum entropy power levels are critical."

"Reroute power trough the secondary channels." Theodore ordered as he brought the cannons to bare on the gaping hole. A disfigured form of the fall maiden stood up with a grin.

"Idiot," you thought as you turned your attention away from your fight
"She shoots fire what makes you think she's impervious to plasma?" "Hey!" You shouted over to your counterpart "use the jump drives! Then run her into a hawking firewall!"

Lighting up to your suggestion Theodore flicked his wrist bringing up a holographic panel where he entered a numerical system into the command panel. "Computer" he ordered "transfer power from offensive systems to jump drives." Running towards cinder he grabs onto her and flicked his wrist in a circular motion causing him and cinder to distort before reinergrating and vanished.

Moment later the armour came crashing down onto the floor and cinder's body, which was turned inside out to be splayed onto the ground. Horrified at the bloody mess on the floor phyrra plucked up the courage to ask "What is that?"

"The remains of the fall maiden," you answered "turned inside out and torn to pieces by the fabric of the universe."

Disabling the system Theodore's face and body was revealed as the armour begin to disappear as quickly as it materialised. He stood up slowly and grinned "Good idea me, usually it is impossible but the planet's unusual subspace fields help."

"Well, this is an instance that killing someone is accepted here." You said with a quiet voice.

"You can't face it can you?" He asked

"Face What?" You said

"That in the same circumstances you you turn out exactly like me."

"But I didn't, in fact I turned out better than you."

"Doesn't change the fact that you are still capable of killing people with a simple writing instrument."

"Back off!" You shouted

"Or What?" Theodore retaliated "You know what you're capable of, how can you hate me? You can't run away from this instinct, I tried and I nearly died!"
