Trunks would sit for awhile and eventually fly back to Capsule Corp.
Vegeta: Hey Trunks
Bulma: Hi Honey
Trunks: Hey mom, hey dad I'll be in my room if you need me.
Bulma: ok!
Vegeta and Bulma sat in the living room watching TV.
Bulma: Are you excited to go training?
Vegeta: Yes Bulma..
He would look over at her like he's annoyed.
Bulma: Maybe you should ask Trunks if he wants to go?
Vegeta: No he's not that strong. Also he couldn't keep up with me.
Bulma: cmon Vegeta! It would be bonding for you and him!
Vegeta: Fine!
He crossed his arms
Meanwhile..
Trunks: How could I tell Goten I like him..?
Vegeta got up to ask Trunks if he wanted to train with him. He walked in his room.
Vegeta: Trunks do you want to train with me?
Trunks wasn't paying attention and zoned out and started talking outloud of how he would tell Goten he liked him.
Trunks: Hey Goten, I like you. No that's not good.
Vegeta tapped on his shoulder.
