"He didn't." Kate said, nearly choking. We were at our apartment because luckily for my roommate she didn't have classes on Fridays and I just decided to call it a day and go home.
It's not like I could've stayed focused in class. I couldn't handle my nerves. We were currently in the bathroom, I was sitting besides the WC as my friend stroked my hair.
"Oh, but he did," I mumbled, feeling sorry for myself. How did this even happen? I won't have time to prepare myself properly for an OR. Not that I ever have or know how to do so.
"You bitch," she sighed. "You're stepping into an operating room on your first year-scratch that, in your first month of med school with the brightest and hottest ass doctor there is."
"Shut up! You're not helping me at all. I'm going to throw up again." I breathlessly said.
"I'm just saying. I'm not killing you because I respect our long time friendship and I may consider you my sister. But, girl, I want to punch you in the face so bad for being able to operate."
"I honestly wouldn't mind you going instead of me."
Kate simply rubbed my back and told me to get some -extremely needed- sleep as she prepared something for me to ingest.

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. It was five in the afternoon, so I had a ridiculous amount of sleep, instead of studying and getting prepared for the evening.
