Jess paced around her room studying her lines. She desperately wanted to be an actor and make an impact on people's lives.
"What are you saying Mike? We go find Will, he could be anywhere" Jess starts practicing, worry in her voice. Jess starts on her next line
"Mike...I-I like you too but we should probably leave this hellhole and survive then you can confess your love for me" She says with emotion dripping from each word. She was trying out for Amelia Frank who was Mike Wheelers love interest. Finally it was time to go to the audition she grabbed her bag and left.
When she got there, there were many girls trying out but she knew she could beat them. She started practicing again but bumped into some one. Jess looked up into a pair of brown eyes
"Oh excuse me" the girl says with an accent "I wasn't watching where I was going"
"Oh no you're fine" Jess replies standing up "I'm Jess Rodriguez"
"Hello, I'm Millie Bobby Brown" Mille replies with her pretty British accent. Soon the girls conected and became wonderful friends. Millie was trying out for the role of Eleven
"You're up Jess Rodriguez" a voice spoke from behind her, Jess nodded her head and walked into the room. There sat three people one a women and two men
"Hello I'm Jess and I will be trying out for Amelia Frank" she stared she noticed a boy about her age standing behind them. He had curly hair and a cute smile
"Great to meet you!" The women said "This is Finn Wolfhard, he will be playing Mike Wheeler aka if you make the part he will be your love interest" Finn grinned at her
"Could you audition with Finn?" One man asks, Jess nods. Finn walks towards her and starts
"Amelia, wait I need to tell you something if we die in here" Finn starts out with emotions in his voice
"Look tell me quick if you haven't noticed we are in a place with a bunch of demon looking monsters" Jess replies pretending to look worried
When they finished Jess was smiling like a kid who got free candy "Amazing! Absolutely wonderful" the other man says looking amazed "we could feel the love tension"
"Thank you so much for letting me audition" Jess says tucking her hair behind her ear. She walked out and watched as Millie went in. She started doodling and soon the results were posted

Jess was lead into a room with the other 5 cast members "You all have been chosen for your roles!" The women for earlier spoke with excitement
Finn walked over to her "Hi, I'm Finn" he said shaking her hand. "You know you're very beautiful" he mumbled then coughed realizing she could hear him. "I can't wait to get to know you" Jess says smiling
That was the beginning of a love between two 13 year olds
