He opens up the box and there it was, a beautiful pear of real diamond earrings. My heart stopped beating so fast as a smile grew upon my face. The gift is really cute, like how'd he know I loved earrings I thought smiling to myself.
"I wanted to give you this gift as a congratulations to you on your achievements so far. I felt like it was the least I could do.." Ace said, as he took the earrings out the box and helped put them in my ear.
"The least you could do?" I respond, astound. "You've been doing so much for us already, what do you mean it was the least you could do?" I said, laughing. He smiled at me.
"Girl, those things don't count. I would do all that for y'all whenever you need me to. I'm always just a phone call away baby." He said, smiling.
I couldn't help but smile back.
"And I also reserved dinner for me you and Daya tonight at the Corlio Gourmet tonight at 8:00... It's already 6 so it looks like yall need to start getting ready.." He said.
I didn't say anything back, I just went straight to Daya to start getting her dressed. I could definitely use some good food right now.
2 Hours Later
We finally arrive at the Corlio Gourmet, three minutes before our reservation scheduled. Ace kindly opened the door for me and also got Daya out of the car for me as well. We walked over to the door, which by now it's 8:00 on the nose.
The host politely lead us to our table for 3, offering any beverage requests before walking away. "Yes, may I have a glass of water please?" I asked.
"Yes, of course. Water for you sir and the yiung lady over here?" The host asks.
"Yes, water will be fine." Ace answered for him and Daya. How cute. The host gave us out menus and walked away.
"This food looks so good, how did you find this restaurant?" I asked, scanning through the menu.
"An old friend of mine use to always eat here and I had it once and fell in love so I thought I'd bring you and let you try it. I promise you gonna love it." He explained.
"Yeah, The stuff on this menu looks good already. I don't know what to choose." I said, as a woman approaches our table whom I'm assuming is our waitress.
"Hi, are you all ready to order?" She asks kindly.
"Yes, may I have the steak platter, well-done with the butter on the side please." Ace spoke as he already knew what he wanted.
"You know what, I'll just have exactly what he's having." I told the waiter. "And may I have the chicken tenders and fries kids meal with a strawberry lemonade please."
"No problem, I'll get that out to you right away." She says as she collects our menus and walks away.
There was a moment of silence for a bit. I didn't really know how to start up a conversation with him... well let's say I didn't really know what to say to him. He soon broke the ice though...
"You like the restaurant so far?" He asks, puttung his napkin in the neck of his shirt like a kid.
"Yeah, Im impressed." I said, smiling.

A Few Hours Later
The little dinner outing went well. The food was absolutely amazing, I'm definitely going back to eat there again. After we were done eating, we headed back to his house.
He opened the door, allowing me to enter the house first. Gentlemen shit.
Then suddenly my phone rings, I look down to see who it is. To my surprise, it's ......
