This is mostly a filler chapter I guess so yeah. Have fun with this.

Also slight feels so...the usual I guess??? Lol. Idk. I'm super sick so I give zero fucks at the moment.

Enjoy!

Ghirahim's POV (oooohhh~)

I let out a heavy sigh as I sat on the bed the hero and I rented for the evening. As a demon, I didn't really need sleep. Link, on the other hand, needed as much rest as he could get. His journey is a long and tiresome one, after all.

The hero slept peacefully on the left side of the mattress, his weapons resting on the floor next to him. I looked at him carefully, taking in the scene.

The moonlight peering in from the window shined on him, giving his features a glow. His locks of golden hair were mattered and messy, probably from his long sleep, His feminine eyelashes fell gracefully over his eyes, and he looked so peaceful as his chest rose and descended slowly as he slept in a fetal position. It was the most adorable thing I have seen in eons. He slept much like the Link I knew...

I cringed at my own thoughts immediately. "Stop comparing them, you fool... He's gone. There is no one you can replace him with. His soul is stuck in this boy's body..."

I continued to stare at the sleeping hero, admiring his features. He was a beauty, no doubt, but it pained me to look at him...

I thought back to that princess, and how attached she always was to the hero. I remember that blonde girl bursting into my room, furious about me ignoring the hero's approaches and being jealous of that Zora. She had more spunk in her than any version I have ever seen. I only hoped that girl was alright, since she was holding her own against that bastard boar. I had grown closer to Zelda ever since that day, but Link and Mipha were a different story.

I was quite distant with both of them, more so with the latter. I did not know her, nor did I have any real reason to know her. I only spoke to her once when she confronted me for the same reason Zelda did...

She was a sweet girl, no doubt, but her demeanor made me question if she was truly suitable to pilot a Divine Beast. She wasn't strong like that Gerudo or that Goron, and she certainly wasn't skilled or could fly like the bird. All she really had was her ability to swim and heal. That wouldn't really do much on the battlefield. But I thought more and more towards that day...

~~Flashback~~

I sat next to the spirit maiden, my arms crossed over my chest as I glanced towards the hero. But, as usual, I looked away the moment that princess entered the room. I sighed to myself as the Champions walked inside and took their respective seats. The annoying bird sat to my right while the taller ones sat closer to the Hylian princess. Then there was the hero and that Zora, sitting next to one another. I hid a growl forming in my throat as I watched her scoot closer to him, and he didn't even flinch. He was not mine, and therefore I had no reason to be territorial over him. But I will not deny my slight jealousy...

The meeting went as usual, the four Champions discussing a plan to defeat Ganon with the princess. I simply stared out the window the entire time until the meeting had ended. Everyone was sent to their homes, and I got up to retreat to my room to do my daily sulking when I was stopped by the fish girl.

"U-Um... Ex-Excuse me, Ghirahim?" I heard her stutter.

I swiftly turned around, giving her an annoyed glare. "What do you want from me?"
