Chapter VI

I promised you in the last update that an old friend was going to come and give you a show and I do like to try and keep my promises. I have worked to try and get this finished and gladly I was able to get it finished today. So, yay!

I do know that I haven't updated this or FOTBL in a while, just know that I don't plan on canceling my Naruto's. Stuff just happens. College, life...writer's block (😅).

Naruto's sword-wielding puppet clashed blades with Zabuza's giant sword. "For a puppeteer, you're pretty good with a sword," the ex-Kiri ninja growled. "Thanks, but I'm just getting started," Naruto replied as he flicked his arm to the left. His puppet parried Zabuza's massive sword out of his hands and jumped up into the air.

"Now, Daburu, let's give him the Coups de Grâce!" Naruto yelled as he yanked his hands back. A blade popped out of the puppet's feet and it sliced upwards and gazed Zabuza's cheek.

The mercenary jumped away and towards his sword. "I don't think so!" Naruto yelled as a scroll fell out of his sleeve and he tossed towards the large blade. The scroll blew up in smoke to reveal a black coffin.

"Don't let him get that sword!" Naruto ordered as he flicked his right hand. The coffin was thrown open and Lust's hair flared out from behind it and black senbons began to shoot at the ex-Kiri ninja. Zabuza growled as he sidestepped the senbons and ran at the puppet. "Out of the way, you tree! Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" he yelled as a water dragon formed and rushed at the puppet.

Suddenly, Daburu jumped in front of the water dragon and raised its arms. "You forgot about him!" Naruto yelled as he jerked his finger towards him. Daburu positioned its sword in front of it and a small compartment opened on both of its arms. Naruto grinned as Daburu's swords lit on fire and began to swing its swords around.

"Crap," Zabuza muttered as he glared at the puppet swordsman. Naruto grinned, "Daburu, time to finish him," he ordered as he flicked his wrist. Daburu pointed its swords towards the water dragon and a beam of fire clashed with water. Steam floated around the area, and Naruto ran through the stream and jump kicked Zabuza in the stomach and into the lake.

"Let's continue. Either you sit still or I shock you. You pick," Naruto said both of his puppets landed next to him and held their hands out. Zabuza glared at the puppeteer before laughing. "You're good, kid, how old are you? Ten?" he asked. "Twelve, actually. That must be a blow to your ego, being beaten by twelve-year-old," Naruto said.

Zabuza laughed. "I see you've got yourself a backbone. Something that your teammates seem to have misplaced," he said as he glanced at Kakashi and the others. Naruto chuckled. "You'll come to find that I have no problem killing. We're shinobi, killing come with the territory," he said.

Zabuza chuckled, "Clever boy," he said. Naruto smirked. "So, do we have a truce?" he inquired. "Fine, I know when I'm beat," Zabuza replied. "Great, glad you've seen it my way," Naruto said as his puppets lowered their hands to their side.

Lust walked over with Zabuza's sword in hand and tossed it at the mercenary. The ex-Kiri ninja caught it with easy and stood up. Naruto turned around and his two puppets walked back to their scrolls. Suddenly, Zabuza's Kubikiribōchō was thirst through Naruto's chest and stuck out of his chest.

Naruto coughed up blood and his puppets fell to the ground. "Damn, you," he growled weakly. "You said it yourself, brat, killing comes with the territory," Zabuza said darkly as he ripped the blade out of his opponent's.
