Chapter 1

I'm new to making collabs and fanfics so I'm really excited about this one!

We really worked hard in making this fic. Hopefully, you may find our story enjoying!

Anyway, here's the first chapter of Falling In Love All Over Again!

"Agh!"

Naruto was sitting in the ramen shop, chugging down a more-than-mouthful of noodles.

"Why can't I join Sasuke  on his mission?!" Naruto asked himself, banging on the table in front of him, making his bowl bounce. "A broken leg should be able to hold me back!"

He had been injured just recently after going on a mission to fight Madara. It did not end in cheering from our blonde protagonist. Well, cheering in victory, that is. He was injured much too badly to go on any other missions. Even the minor ones.

"The last time I saw him before he left was when I brought him back to the village," Naruto said with a daydreaming expression, ramen noodles dangling from his overstuffed mouth. "It's been a pretty long while since then."

Scenes of him and Sasuke together flashed through Naruto's head. Moments of them on missions, during fights, at home in Konoha, and them in the training hall. Even the times when they would have love triangle issues with Sakura.

"Speaking of the training grounds," Naruto said, snapping out of his daydreaming state, "Maybe if I work out a little and my leg gets used to getting into action again, I could join Sasuke on his mission!"

With a few fist pumps in the air and a finishing slurp of his ramen, he was on his way to the training hall. That is, after he props himself on his crutches.

"Hee-yah!"

Naruto was punching a dummy ninja with great precision and without hesitation. Of course, what do you expect from a determined kid like him? Plus, it was only his lower body that was badly injured.

"Now for kicking," Naruto mumbled with a slight sound of fear.

If he moved his leg a certain way, it would twist and result in maddening pain. However, if he kicked with planned strikes, he would not feel so much as a few aches here and there.

But just before he attempted a kick, Naruto felt a massive aching pain. Not his leg, though. His chest was the one with a burden.

"Wha-- ?" His face fell with agony and shock. There was nothing wrong with his heart nor his lungs. And it was pounding and sucking pain simultaneously that he was feeling. It was as though he was deteriorating.

Then he blacked out.

"Where am I?"

You are in your mindscape with me, said a low voice. The source of it, however, was nowhere to be seen.

"Wait a minute," Naruto said, scanning his surroundings, "I know this place. I've been here before."

Yes you have, said the low voice, I'm the demon spirit within you, Naruto, and you must know something.

"Gah! I thought I was dead! Thank goodness," Naruto said with much relief. "Anyways, what is it that you wanted to tell me?"

If the kyuubi were a human he probably would have given himself a face palm right now. The power within you is too much for you to handle, the spirit said, you will not be able to live much longer.

Naruto was shocked still. He wouldn't move, almost paralyzed. "What?" Tears welled up in his eyes and his fands curled into fists. "What?!" He said much louder and enraged now.

Thr kyuubi figured that Naruto would cause a scene and he didn't want to have to handle it, so he woke him up.

"That can't be! I am not that weak, ya know! I can handle anything!"

His body was completely healed and no pain was left. Except for a throbbing in his head, that is.

"The kyuubi even fixed me up! Think I can't do things on my own, eh?!" Naruto was waving his fist in the air, stomping about in the training room. "Well whatever you said is rubbish! It ain't true! I will live long enough to become a hokage!"

He was laughing. Laughing at how proud he was of himself. Naruto had many goals that he did not want to be stopped by some stupid prophecy the kyuubi mentioned. He was too determined.

"Believe it!"
