Y/N: (groans) "I can't believe I lost that bet!"
Ruby: "Well you lost soooo"
Ruby handed me a pencil and a bunch of homework from her classes
Ruby: "Get to work"she smiled and giggled
Y/N:(sighs) "Fiiiiiiiinnnnneeeee!!"I examined the first question,and saw it was questions that were actually pretty easy,mostly questions about what to do in this situation
Weiss: "Why don't we go to the docks?"
Yang: "Why?"
Weiss: "Students are arriving for the Vytal Festival today,I want to be sure to introduce them to vale"
Y/N: "You want to spy on them"I say as I turn around from my chair
Weiss: "I don't!Uhh,we're going to the docks"
As they started walking out of the room,they noticed I was still at the cochair and desk
Yang: "Are you coming Y/N?"
Y/N: "Nah,I have enough work as it is,plus this will take all day,Can you take Noe with you?Im going to be busy all day"
Blake: "Ok"
Y/N: "Oh!Also here!"I toss them something in which Yang caught,they looked and saw about 500 lien
Y/N: "Go crazy"
Blake: "How'd you get all that money"
Y/N: "I stole it......I'm just kidding,after I quit that old life I got a few jobs and saved up"
Ruby: "Well I don't think we should just take it"
Y/N: "Go ahead,I ain't got any use for it"
Weiss: "Are you sure?"
Y/N: "Yea!Just take Noe with you guys please?Like I said ima be busy allll day"
Yang: "Ok,Cmon ladies and boy!"
Noe: "Bye Y/N!"he said waving back at me with a cute smile
Y/N: "Bye!Have fun!"
And with that wave,they left
Y/N: "Ok,time to work"
Ruby's POV
We went to the city,where it was surrounded by decorations for the students coming to Vale for the Vytal Festival,Weiss looked really excited for the tournament
Weiss: "The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!"
Ruby: "I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss. It's kinda weirding me out..."
Weiss: "How could you not smile?A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world!There will be dances!Parades!A tournament!Oh,the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!"
Yang: "You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring"
Weiss: "Quiet you!"
Yang: "Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?"
Noe: "It smells bad here"he said ,Noe had held onto my hand ever since we left the dorm,he covered his nose,I did the same
Ruby: "Ugh,they smell like fish"
Weiss: "I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today.And, as a representative of Beacon,I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!"
As we started walking,Blake started to say something responding to what Weiss had said
Blake: "She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament"
Weiss: "You can't prove that!"
Ruby: "Whoa"I turned my head to the right to see a dust shop,that looks to have been robbed
We walked up to the two detectives who were inspecting the scen
Ruby: "What happened here?"
Detective 1: "Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle"
Yang: "That's terrible"
Weiss: "You guys don't think it was Y/N?Do you?"
Ruby: "And why do you say that?"
Weiss: "Remember the money he gave us?What if he lied about saving up?"
Blake: "No,he wouldn't just lie to us like that"
Yang: "Yea,besides,I don't think I could see him doing this"
Ruby: "Yea,he's a good man,I can't see him doing this like he did earlier in his life"
Detective 2: "They left all the money again"
I turned my head to the detectives,that line caught my attention
Ruby: "Huh?"
Detective 1: "Yeah, just doesn't make a lick of sense.Who needs that much Dust?"
Detective 2: "I don't know,an army?"
Detective 1: "You thinking the white fang?"
Detective 2: "Yeah, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough"
Weiss: "Hmph! The White Fang. What an awful bunch of degenerates!"as she said this she crossed her arms
Blake: "What's your problem?"
Weiss: "My problem?I simply don't care for the criminally insane"
Blake: "The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths.They're a collection of misguided Faunus"
Weiss: "Misguided?They want to wipe Humanity off the face of the planet!"
Blake: "So then they're very misguided.Either way,it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale!"
Ruby: "Hmm... Blake's got a point. Besides, the police never caught that Torchwick guy me and Y/N ran into a few months ago... Maybe it was him"
Weiss: "That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum.Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal"
Yang: "That's not necessarily true..."
????: "Hey stop that Faunus!"
We then see two sailors on the boat,chasing a Faunus with a golden yellow tail
Faunus Boy: "Thanks for the ride, guys!Haha!"he jumped off the boat and landed on the dock and started running
Sailor: "You no-good stowaway!"
The Faunus was hanging in a lamppost,while peeling a banana
Faunus Boy: "Hey!A no-good stowaway would've been caught!I'm a great stowaway!"
Just then a rock was thrown at the Faunus Boy,the detectives then came along to where the boy was
Detective 1: "Hey! Get down from there this instant!"
The Faunus threw the banana peel at the detective,in which they started to chase him,he ran past so fast we could barely see him
Yang: "Well, Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes..."
Weiss: "Quick!We have to observe him!"
We started to chase him,him running faster and faster,Weiss had ran into someone,we all stopped chasing the minute she crashed,we then see him gone
Weiss: "No, he got away!"
Yang: "Uhhh Weiss?"she pointed to the person Weiss had crashed into,she got startled and hastily got up
????: "Sal-u-ta-tions!"
Ruby: "Um..hello"
Yang: "Are you...ok?"
????: "I'm wonderful!Thank you for asking!"
Yang: "Do you... wanna get up?"
Penny: "Yes"she kicked her feet up and landed on her feet,we then backed a little bit away from her
Penny: "My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!"
Ruby: "Hi Penny.Im Ruby"
Weiss: "I'm Weiss"
Blake: "Blake"
Yang: "Are you sure you didn't hit her head?"Blake then hit her side "Oh,I'm Yang"
Penny: "It's a pleasure to meet you!"
Weiss: "You already said that"
Penny: "So I did"
We all stood there silent until someone appeared in front of us
Y/N: "Yo!"He was in front of Yang,who got startled and punched him in the face on his right cheek
Y/N: "Owwww!!And I just bit the right side of my cheek earlier!"he yelled while clutching his cheek
Yang: "Y/N?!What the heck are you doing here?!Also sorry""
Y/N: "Aah!Im here for Noe"
Ruby: "Why?"
Y/N: "Because little wolfy has been blowing up my scroll,asking if I could come along with them"he then looked at Noe,who was jumping on the tiles of the sidewalk
Yang: "Wait where my scroll?Noe!"
Noe,who was startled stopped jumping and looked at Yang,she then motioned for him to give back her scroll,in which he did
Y/N: "Alright,I guess we'll just hang out with you guys"
Penny: "Salutations!I'm Penny"
Y/N: "Oh hello!Im Y/N"he waved at Penny
Weiss: "Well, sorry for running into you!"
Ruby: "Take care, friend!"
Y/N: "Lets meet again sometime friend!"
We all walked away from the girl
Y/N: "So what's up with her??"
Yang: "She was... weird..."
Y/N: "Why do you say that?"
Noe: "She was acting a bit strange"
Weiss: "Now,where did that Faunus riff-raff run off to?"
Y/N: "Why you have to call Noe that?"
Weiss: "No,not him,some other Faunus"
Penny: "What did you call me?"
We all saw Penny in front of us,Weiss was looking back and forth,wondering how the girl appeared in front of us so quickly
Yang: "Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me!"
Penny: "Not You"she walked over to me and
Y/N "You"
Ruby: "Me? I-I don't know. I, what I, um, uh..."
Y/N: "I don't believe I did anything wrong?"
Penny: "You called me 'friend'! Am I really your friend?"
Ruby: "Uuuum..."I look back to see Yang,Weiss and Blake doing some signals with their hands
Ruby: "Y-yeah,sure!Why not?"
Y/N: "Of course"
We can both see our teammates collapsing on the floor,and Noe just looking confused
Penny: "Sen-sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys!"
Y/N: "I'm not sure I can do those things since I'm a boy"
Ruby:(whispering to Weiss) "Oh, is this what it was like when you met me?"
Weiss: "No - she seems far more coordinated"
Yang: "So... what are you doing in Vale?"
Penny: "I'm here to fight in the tournament!"
Y/N: "Really?!"
Weiss: "Wait, you're fighting in the tournament?"
Penny: "I'm combat ready!"she gave a salute as she said this
Weiss: "Forgive me, but you hardly look the part"
Blake: "Says the girl wearing a skirt"
Weiss: "It's a combat skirt!"
I slide next to Weiss,who had her arms crossed.I also had my arms crossed
Ruby: "Yea!"I gave her a high-five
Y/N: "Awesome!I wonder if we'll fight in the tournament!"
Yang: "Wait I thought Professor Ozpin said you can't participate in the tournament"
Y/N: "Well..........."
Y/N's POV flashback
Y/N: "You called me Professor?"
Ozpin: "Yes,Mr.L/N,Remember when I said you can't participate in the tournament,you being the fifth member of Team RWBY"
Y/N: "Yes"
Ozpin: "Well you can participate,but in a survival type battle,you will be on your own,and fight many students,maybe even in teams,the only limitations are you can't fly nor can you teleport"
Y/N: "Sounds good to me"I turn around so Ozpin can't see my face "Alright!"I quietly yell
Ozpin: "Just go easy on the students,try not to kill them"
Y/N: "You have my word"
Flashback end
Y/N: "Yea!So now I can participate,but it will be me only and I might even be able to fight you guys"
Blake: "Thats Great"
Weiss: "Wait a minute"she walked to Penny and grabbed her by the shoulders,and shook her slightly "If you're here for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-tailed... rapscallion?"
Penny: "The who?"
Weiss: "The filthy Faunus from the boat!"
Blake: "Why do you keep saying that?!"
Weiss: "Huh?"
Blake: "Stop calling him a rapscallion!Stop calling him a degenerate!He's a person!"
Weiss: "Oh I'm sorry.Would you like me to stop referring to the trash can as a trash can? Or this lamppost as a lamppost?"
Blake: "Stop it!"
Weiss: "Stop what?He clearly broke the law. Give him time;he'll probably join up with those other Faunus in the White Fang!"
Blake: "You ignorant little brat!"
Weiss: "How dare you talk to me like that! I am your teammate!
Blake: "You are a judgmental little girl"
Weiss: "What in the world makes you say that?"
Blake: "The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with a terrorist group solely based on his species makes you just as much of a scoundrel as you believe him to be!"
Yang: "Um, I think we should probably go..."
Penny: "Where are we going?"
Weiss: "So you admit it! The White Fang is just a radical group of terrorists!"
Noe: "Why are they fighting Y/N?"
Blake: "That's not what I meant, and you know it!"
Y/N: "It's.....Nothing"
Timeskip
So we arrived to the dorm and they are still arguing,and it's already dark
Weiss: "I don't understand why this is causing such a problem!"
Blake: "That is the problem!"
Weiss: "You realize you are defending an organization that hates Humanity, don't you? The Faunus of the White Fang are pure evil!"
Blake: "There's no such thing as pure evil! Why do you think they hate Humanity so much? It's because of people like Cardin, people like you, that force the White Fang to take such drastic measures!"
Weiss: "People like me?"
Blake: "You're discriminatory"
Weiss: "I'm a victim!"We all stood there in silence,not knowing how to respond
Weiss: "You want to know why I despise the White Fang? Why I don't particularly trust the Faunus? It's because they've been at war with my family for years. War, as in actual bloodshed. My grandfather's company has had a target painted across its back for as long as I can remember. And ever since I was a child, I've watched family,friends disappear; board members executed; an entire train car full of Dust, stolen. And every day, my father would come home, furious. And that made for a very difficult childhood"
Ruby: "Weiss,I-"she put her hand on her shoulder but Weiss shrugged her away
Weiss: "No! You want to know why I despise the White Fang? It's because they're a bunch of liars, thieves, and murderers!"
Blake: "Well maybe we were just tired of being pushed around!"
Weiss stood back,startled at her response and we all dropped dead in silence
Blake: "I-I..."she then dashed out of the dorm
Ruby: "Blake, wait! Come back!"
Y/N: "Damn it!"
Yang: "What now?"
Y/N: "Wait until tomorrow,lets....give her some time alone"I then put a sleeping Noe on the mattress "For now,lets get some rest"
