Lance almost tried to pull away, but effortlessly.

It lasted for what felt like ages, and finally I pulled away.

Lance was beet red, and I assume I was too.

"See you later, mullet," Lance smirked, walking back to his car.

"Bye, kitten," I grinned, waving.

"I am NOT a kitten," he frowned.

"Yes, you are, now get in the car," I laughed.

"I am not!" he yelled, right before he closed the door to his Volkswagon.

I walked backwards into my car, and leaned into my car door.

"YOU'RE HELLA GAY!"

I jolted up and faced the noise.

Pidge was standing right there, laughing.

"When did you get here?" I shouted, startled. I gripped the handle of my car.

"That doesn't matter right now. Now why did you kiss him?"

I stopped, stunned. Why did I kiss him? Because I wanted to. Because I loved everything about him. His laugh, his smile, his stubborness, his style. His caring soft voice. The way he treated others. Because Lance was perfect. That was why.

"Because. I'm leaving now." I jerked open the handle and closed the door while throwing myself into the car.

"Wait!" Pidge yelled. "That doesn't answer my question!"

They ran forwards but couldn't make it before I waved and went onto the road.

Were Lance and I dating now?

I wondered if we were the entire ride to my apartment. If we were dating would I tell him that I hated him?

-----------------------------------

Lance: I can't wait to do that again <3

Keith: gn kitten <3

----------------------------------

I do believe that we are most definitely dating now. Everything so far had just added up. Going on a date to the coffee shop, deep conversations, having fun, I kissed him, and now we're sending each other little goodnight messages with hearts.

I groaned and threw my head down into the parked car's steering wheel.

"Why do I have to like him so much?" I mumbled.

Walking into my apartment, I heard Lance's friendly voice behind me.

"I keep forgetting we live in the same apartment," Lance laughed.

"Oh yeah," I smiled. "Want to stay over at my place?"

"Ofcourse!" He answered cheerfully, "I'll be right back."

He came bounding down the stairs in a blue colored cat onesie.

"Oh my god," I smirked. "You really are a kitten.

"I am not!" Lance yelled.

I ushered him inside and turned on the TV.

"Oh, my god, is that metal playing?" he sounded disgusted.

"Yes?" I asked, confused.

"Give me your phone. I'm showing you what real music is." He stuck out his hand, waiting for me to give me to give him my phone.

I reluctantly gave it to him, rolling my eyes, laughing. He opened YouTube and started looking up something I couldn't see.

"On a fault line, late night,
Underneath the stars we came alive,
Singing to the sky just felt right,
I won't forget the good times."

I perked up at the familiar beat.

"While the punks started picking fights,
With the skater kids under the city lights,
Remember how we laughed 'til we cried,
No, I won't forget the good times."

I began to sing along, happy to hear the tune. Lance sang with me.

"I, NEVER WANNA LEAVE THIS SUNSET TOWN, BUT ONE DAY, THE TIME MAY COME," I wrapped my arms around his. "AND ILL TAKE YOU AND YOUR WORD AND CARRY ON, I HATE THIS GOODBYE, BUT I WON'T FORGET THE GOOD TIMES."

Lance continued to play the song. We started laughing and continued to play the song. After we had finished with that, I had layed down on the couch.

Lance had manuevered around and managed to get himself under me. He started to mess with my hair.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Calm down. I'm just braiding your hair."
