62. EPILOGUE

DEV'S P.O.V.

"wash them thoroughly and put them in the tray after wiping them clean.......and do it fast, me and baby are feeling very sleepy"

Sona commanded me as I stood by the sink washing the cutlery...........it was Sunday today, the only day when I would be working in kitchen and Sona would be commanding me.

Otherwise it was always me who used to be in a hurry as Sona juggled between the duty of being a wife and a mother simultaneously........little Soha looked up at her mom, from where she was being clipped to her mother's chest through the baby pouch.........her little eyes widened as she toddled her head continuously between her mother and father.........she had never seen her Dad being so worried

"Mumma.........papa.......hawww"

She giggled and pointed her finger towards her hardworking dad as Sona laughed at my troubled state.........we had a early morning tiff wherein I declared that I can handle the house much more efficiently then her, following which she challenged me to prove it to her that very day itself.........as a result, the entrepreneur was busy shedding his sweat in the kitchen to finish the work in time

"that's the reason why I say.........think before you speak.........never underestimate a woman's capabilities, but as always.........you have to irk me"

She reprimanded me as I looked up to her defeated........I had been slogging since morning and hadn't been able to finish even 50% of work which otherwise Sona would usually do

"Sona I said I'm sorry........please forgive me........I promise I will never do this again........please"

My cute expressions and the puppy look had always been her weak points..........and I very well knew how to melt her down when she would be extremely angry with me

"ok fine.......stop making those faces now, enough of what you have done till know, leave it as it is.........take Soha and go to your room"

I gave her a sly smile before picking up my little daughter and making a straight dash towards the room..........I knew how hard the day had been for me.........now when I had got a chance to escape the wrath of my annoyed wife, I didn't wish to leave any chance for her to change back her decision of sparing me for the day.........

I rocked my little kiddo to sleep as Sona got back to the room after finishing her chores downstairs.........it had been 5 years since we left New York completely and shifted here to Delhi..........Sia was 7 years old now and Siddhi was expecting her second child.........I had managed to get huge claims from the insurance company when house got blasted in New York.........

The funds helped me set up my new firm in Delhi along with Ravi, while my plan helped me to get rid of Roma, Rocky and Neha at one stroke.........they had made me suffer a lot, infact Sona had to bear the worst consequences.........so it was upto me now to punish them for their deed, which I aptly did........

No one knew, Mr. Steves and a few of his loyal employees had helped me with execution of my plan.........we managed to hire workers who could plant explosives inside the Villa, and as a result they blew up the Villa late at night, when all the occupants were merrily sleeping.........

With all the evidences buried along with my bitter enemies, Steves managed to prove this as an accident which resulted due to gas leakage in the kitchen............with all the evidences in our favor, I managed to grab huge chunks as insurance amount..........half of it was utilized to pay off my debts and help out those loyal employees who had always sided me and lost their jobs..........the remaining half was utilized for setting up my new business in India...........
