It was another normal playthrough of Doki Doki. Everyone knew Sayori would die. It was Monika's fault. Other then the mods available, it was well known that you couldn't save any of the girls.
It was the characters second playthrough. Always a heartbreaker, going back through knowing what happens. You had focused all your poems on Sayori, but it wouldn't matter. You found her in her room, yet again hanging. You felt real tears spring into your eyes, but your character had no idea what Monika was capable of. Again, the game reboots to a glitchy Sayori. You start up the game again... But something's off. You knew the game quite well, and this had never happened to anyone else before. Your character was speaking of how he missed Sayori... And how you couldn't live without her. The screen shows a noose in your characters hand, and then it blacks out. After a moment, you can see Monika looking at you, but she can't stop you. The game crashes. "What the @$#$?" You exclaim. Maybe you need to reboot it. Maybe you just needed... Some sleep....
