Chapter 4: The Two of us

Yume's POV
I woke up finding myself in Subaru's condo.

Yesterday, was different.

I see, Subaru is still asleep.

I picked up my Aikatsu Mobile which is under my pillow and found out that I have five miss calls and 10 messages from Elza-sama.

I bet she is wondering why am I not on Venus Ark last night.

I sighed.

"Why are sighing?" Someone asked.

It was Subaru.

"Oh nothing." I replied.

He looked over to my mobile and smiled, "Elza-san must be wondering where you have been." He said.

I smiled.

He then touched my cheek and slowly pulled me close.

"Yume...." he mumbled, "Let's get up already." He said and let's go of my cheek.

Crap! I thought he is going to do it.

"Yeah, you're right!" I replied, then looked away, "Damn it! I thought you are going to kiss me, Subaru!" I mumbled.

"What did you say?" He asked.
"Nothing!" I said and hopped off the bed.

My heart, is racing.

This feeling I never felt for a long time.

Subaru's POV
My heart is once again shouting for her name.

The feeling I longed to feel once again with her.

I had a strange feeling, that I have been longing to do it with her.

*Time skipped*

"Yo Subaru!" Nozomu greeted.

"Yo!" I greeted back.

He then smirked, "Where have you been last night?" He asked.

I turned red, "I-I-I was at m-my condo....s-so what?" I stuttered.
"Oh please! You were with Yume last night." He smirked.

Damn you, Nozomu!

"Nozomu, damn it!" I shrieked.

He laughed, "Well, I better go meet ul with Aria! See ya!" He said and left.

My heart beated fast everytime I heard Yume's name.

Each moment with her, I cherished it.

Yume's POV
"SLEEPING WITH SUBARU-KUN LAST NIGHT! KYAA! YAY!" Aria cheered.

Yup, I told them.

"I have no problems with that." Rei said.
"Ehh?! But what if something happened between them, and Yume-chan had to leave us." Kirara cried and turned to me, "Leaving us, is a BAA!" She said.

I chuckled a bit.

Someone then knocked on my door.

"Yume-chan..." It was Yuna.

"Yuna." I wondered.
"Hyakuya-san." Rei, Kirara and Aria also wondered.

"Uhm...E-Elza-sama wants to see you." She said nervously.

I wonder why?

I went to her office seeing her holding three cards.

The Sun Dress.

"Yume, I'm glad you came." She said.
"Yes?"

She just smiled, "The Final Tournament is drawing near. Don't you feel excited?" She asked.
I nod my head as I smiled.

"I'm glad we were able to get here to Japan on time before the tournament. Although, the Top 4 lives here." She explained.

Top 4?

Elza-sama is Top 1 at Aikatsu Ranking, I followed her on Top 2, trailing behind me is Rei-san, and the fourth?

"It is Mahiru Kasumi." She said.

Mahiru-chan?

I cheered, "Yosh! Can't believe it!".

She smiled, "I'll be waiting for the Final Stage, Yume." She said.

I nod my head and left the office.

"I better tell this to Subaru." I thought as I went to my room. However, I passed the canteen and overheard students gossiping, one of them is Kirara and Aria.

"Kirara pities Yume-chan. She did not see Subaru-kun for a long time." Said Kirara.
"I agree. But I'm relief that they were able to see each other again." One of the students, Juli-senpai said.

I don't get it! Why would they talk about that?

"Yume-chan is so lucky to have Subaru. I wonder when are they going to get married?" Aria said.

I quickly went in the conversation, unconsciously.

"Eh?! Aria you are going way too far!!" I reacted.

Everybody stared at me, "Uh, hehe! My bad!" I said and ran away, went to my room.

Although, it makes me wonder, if me and Subaru are going to be on a relationship, is he going to marry me?

I shake that thought away for awhile.

I must be thinking about the Final Tournament.

"Ugh! Why am I doing this?!" I shrieked, which nearly the other students heard it.

I ignored them and kept on walking.

Subaru's POV
If I'm gonna be in a relationship with her, will she marry me?

"Having deep thoughts, Subaru?" Lily asked.

Today, me and Lily are at the radio station to record our new collaboration song.

"Kind of. I was thinking to court Yume." I replied.

She looked at me as she smiles, "Be straightforward when it comes to your feelings. Especially when they are true," she said, "but don't forget, Love is patient, and it takes time." She added.

I got a bit confused from what she said.

If love is patient and it takes time, what's ths purpose of being straightforward in Love? If I have to be straightforward in Love, then why does it have to take time?

I sighed, "Alright, I'm gonna tell her!"

I messaged Yume to meet me later at the park at 3pm and she replied with an ok!. "Be strong, Subaru!" I said to myself.

At the park, 3pm...
There, I saw Yume standing underneath a tree.

I approached, "Did I make you wait?" I asked with a smile.

She shook her head with a smile.

"Can I tell you something?" I asked.
She nods her head.

I took a deep breath and let it out, "Yume, I LOVE YOU!" I said it straightforward.

Surprised face framed on her face. Soon, she smiled, "That is very surprising." She said as she approaches.

"You know, I am available." She whispered as she went over to my ear.

I blushed, "Wait, you lo--er, like me too?" I asked.

She laughed, "I love you! Not like you." She replied.

"Then, uh, can you be per chance be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously.
"Why ask? I will say 'yes' immediately!" She replied.
"Yes!" I cheered.

The most happiest day of my life.

I took a peck on her lips, after that she chuckled.

My heart beated fast. Faster than ever!

The girl I love so dear, is my girlfriend. I promise, I will never break your heart, 'til the very end.
