Chapter Thirteen

~EMI~

I was sleeping soundly in my bed.... lost in a dream. What dream you ask? It was quite a weird and confusing dream

I was up on the hill alone.... looking at the scenery before me with the wind blowing through my hair. Slowly closing my eyes, I heard a voice. 

"Emi...."

"Emi....."

My eyes were shot open..... The voice continued to call out for me

My eyes roamed around the area to see where the voice came from. There behind the trees, I saw a man in black wearing some kind of mask. He was signalling me to come closer. I stood up on my feet and walked up to the man without even thinking

I stopped walking with one meter between us to keep some distance. We were staring at each other, waiting for a response from either of us. He walked closer to me and lifted up his hand signaling me to take it. Slowly, I raised my hand to reach his. And just when I was about to take it, I woke up

My eyes fluttered open with a blurry vision to begin with. I blinked a few times to focus my eyes. As soon as it did, I sat up on the edge of my bed and stretch my arms along with a yawn still half asleep. I wondered off in my thoughts for a while

What was that dream about? Was it a sign or something? I shouldn't think about this.... seriously  it was just a dream.

Finally after fter a few minutes, I was fully awake. I turned to look at Aya, she was still sound alseep on the bed right next to where I slept. I patted her head and went off the bathroom to shower and get dressed up.

After fixing my uniform, I checked to look at the time

7:30.... I still had time for breakfast. Yay! So I head out to the door and made my way to the cafeteria. As I arrived at the cafeteria, I sweatdropped. The place was a mess again, litter was on the floor and food was dropped everywhere. I'm so not cleaning this tonight

Anyways, I grabbed my tray full of food and went to our usual table somewhere near the windows where I enjoyed the view. They were already sitted there, eating and chatting. I sat down on the available seat 

"Good Morning" I greeted them

"Morning" They all said in unison

"Can you believe how people get the cafeteria in chaos in a matter of seconds?"

"Urgh tell me about it"

We continued on with our food and walked together to class. Entering the classroom, I checked to see if Narumi-sensei had arrived...... fortunately he hasn't yet. Risa was here today and so was Aiko...

Aiko.... OMG I totally forgot that I was gonna tutor him for a week!!! 

I turned away, trying to hide the blush that crept up on my cheeks. I sat down on my seat next to Izumi and Kazuki along with Chiyo and the others. We chatted for a while, and just when we were about to go to the topic of daring ourselves to dress-cross, Narumi-sensei entered the room clapping his hands together to get the attention of the class before speaking.

"Alright class, you may go to your perspective class types now" The class walked out the classroom to go to their "class types" which I had no I idea what mine was. Chiyo must have noticed my confused look because she gave me a smile telling me to chill.

"Emi-chan, you don't need to worry about your class type. You're the same class type as Maemi-chan, which is the Technology Class. Me, and Tami-chan are in the Latent Class. Kazuki-kun is in the Somatic Class. Hashimi-chan is in the Special Ability class while Izumi- kun is in the Dangerous class." Chiyo explained to me. I guess technology isn't that bad right? I glanced at Izumi, wondering how his alice could be so dangerous.I caught him eyeing Aiko from across the room with a not-so-friendly look. I elbowed him to get his attention.

"What's with you?"I asked with a gentle tone

"Nothing" He replied back with the cold tone he used the first time we talked. And with that, he stood up and walked out of the classroom. I was about to follow him but a hand was placed on top of my shoulder to stop me. I turned to where the hand came from, Kazuki.

"It's alright Emi, he's always grumpy whenever we had to go to our class types. Just give him some space and he'll chil down." He told me. He sounded like he knew Izumi so well, so I chose to follow his words.

"We should go now, we might get late" I said

We all bid our goodbyes and went on to their destinations. Hashimi grabbed me by the arm and we walked to our class type. There was silence for a while, but then I had to ask a question

"Hashimi-chan? What exactly do you do in the class types?"

"Glad you ask! In our class types, we train our alices in order to gain better control over them. There are many other students in the technology class. Our class representative is in the middle- school division, he has the Invention Alice. And let me tell you, he's hot!" She added a giggle to the end of her sentence

"Ehh? You like him?" I asked with my eyebrow raised

"Who wouldn't?! He's probably the hottest guy I've ever seen in my whole life!!" She screamed with her arms up in the air, I chuckled at her fangirling over the guy. 

"Who is?" Someone said from behind us. Hashimi was frozen in her spot, with a totally red face. I looked up to the guy until I met his gaze.

The guy had white hair and electric blue eyes, he was probably a head taller than me! He tilted his head, still looking at me with his hand up on his chin as if he was trying to figure me out

"My my, Hashimi? Who is this fine young lady here?" he asked with this flirty, playful tone in his voice. 

Hashimi didn't answer at all. Instead, she was drooling over his 'hotness' and was lost in his deep blue eyes. I pinched the bridge of my nose and shook my head at how idiotic she looked, not that I'm saying that she is idiotic.

We both stared at her for a few more moments for her to notice that she was making things VERY awkward. As soon as she stopped drooling and oogling over the guy, she started saying random stuff and getting redder every second, if that was even possible.

"Hi-I uh- how are unicorns- eh... s-sorry, wh-what were you saying?" she said trying to look and sound as normal as possible, which she obviously failed to do

"Ne~ I was asking you to introduce your friend"

"O-oh um.. th-this is Emi Ummm...." She wasn't able to speak anymore from humiliation. Instead, she started playing her fingers and twirling them around and around. I patted her back hoping that it would help her calm down

"Excuse my friend Hashimi.... I'm Emi Ayano by the way, Art Alice" I continued the introduction

"Emi.... Ah! So you're our new rookie?"

Done!!! :3 I'm kinda in a rush because I'm currently using my laptop and it's at 1% battery. And I'm too lazy to plug it into the charger. Hey! Don't blame me for being lazy, I'm sure you guys experience the same thing right? No? Okay :/

As for the new cover I was talking about, I just want to tell you.....

I suck at drawing, like seriously -,- I'll try my best so don't hate me when it's really bad kay?
