wOah it is a lot better than tHe original cover you sent so that's super good.
the typography is very nice, the effect is super cool and thus maNio is better than any manip I attempt to make. I love who you layed out 'you're my'. but, I would definitely change the font for 'poison'. it's a very nice font and it doesn't look bad buy o think the 'poison' should stand out more. I would also make the author name a bit larger and maybe a more simple and sharp font.
for what you did well, I think your layout is very nice. how you placed the text and people are just right. also the effects you out are awesome and like omg what do you use?
to improve, you can make with look more clean and less messy. I think those blotches (what are they called lol) look a bit awkward as well as those sparkles. maybe instead use a brush and do a kind of circle ish thing. ( for mobile users you can blend this in screen it looks amazing )

and I'm not so sure if it was sin purpose or not, but the models are blurry and it would definitely look better if the whole cover was very clean :)
