This is a continuance of my previous story THORIN's BRIDE. It has been two years since the King Under the Mountain made a Queen out of a simple young elf and after a couple of losses that they had kept within the palace walls, it seems as though Thorin and Briella may have had the success they were hoping for.
But when King Thranduil comes to visit, seemingly to see Thorin, the real reason as to why he was visiting suddenly becomes very clear and very frightening to the young Queen, who turns to her dwarf husband for help and protection.
