A poem for a lust turned lost

I want you

To ask me why I cry

I want you

To comfort me

I need for you

To let me tell my story

I need for you

To hear my words

But they say

Actions speak louder

Than words

Darling I want you

To explore the depths

Of my soul

And I don't mean just

The good parts

I mean all of it

Search deep within

The blackness that hides

In every

Nook and craney

And don't back off

Once you've seen the bad

Because what I need

What I truly need

Is for someone

To know

I need to spill

My heart out to you

Until I'm hollowed

Of all that I've

Bottled up

Take a wrecking ball

And crash it into

These walls I've been

Building around me, love.
